The corridors were shockingly large and vast. Numerous torches lit the path down and outward. Just what is this place and why was it sealed off? ''The slaves had done this to prevent any tomb robbers from stealing but I'm sure you already know of this.'' you nod, staring wide eyed at the walls of endless hieroglyphs lining them. ''We could get in trouble for this.'' Green eyes blinked. ''Of finding another burial site? I doubt it.'' The two then stopped at a another giant chamber like door only this one held a key slot of some sort.
''Alright, let's see what we got...'' Something felt wrong about this place. Very wrong. ''D-Don't touch-'' Your cry of warning was quickly answered by a cold chill running through Mirien and he dropped onto the stone floor. As you knelt down to get him up and out of this place, you begin to feel sick. To the point of throwing up before collapsing on your side staring blankly at the golden ceiling as darkness took hold.
A little girl playing in a vast garden with a panther cub, smiling and huffing lightly in annoyance as the pure black cub nudges her small form from behind. ''I don't like baths Kian.'' The little cub mewls nudging her again. ''Okay, okay.'' Little feet and paws pattered along the stone floor of the palace towards the royal bathing room. Once inside, shuffling out of her dress and ridding of the bright jewels in her hair, needing some help from the cub just to get into the gigantic pool of hot water.
''Princess? Your mother has told me to come get you. The pharaoh and his son are already here.'' There was a slight pause from the other side of the door. ''C-Coming!'' A new and dry dress and shoe attire were quickly bought in by the servants, whom the little one refused to call that word. Of course, this was very uncommon but it did mark the child's compassion. Even her parents noticed this trait. ''Ah, here's my little lotus.'' she quickly hides behind one of the stone pillars. A few of the escort guards chuckled at the little girl's shyness. ''Come now, dear. Don't be shy.'' Wide E/C orbs peeked out from behind the pillar before the rest of herself came out from hiding.
''She isn't very sociable.'' The young lad pointed out. ''Now, now boy. This is the one who you'll be wed to when older.'' His own eyes widen in shock and anger. ''A rabbit? You expect me to wed a rabbit?'' E/C blinked at the tall lad. ''...He's tall. Don't squish me!'' He just gave the little girl a strange glance as the adults laughed.
''Y/N...Y/N wake up! Damn it kid, get up!'' Bleary E/C eyes opened before wincing at the light headache now wrecking havoc on her skull. ''Come on. We have to get out of here. This place must still have a magic barrier. But how?! After all this time...'' his eyes suddenly widen before shaking his head. ''...No wonder they kept this place hidden. This is his resting place.'' Helping you up right, he momentarily stares at the amulet. ''...Don't you dare take her. She's too young. Too pure for the likes of you.'' the last part came out in a low snarl as the gem subtly glowed in return.
After the duo left and sealed up the passage, the hotel lobby was empty. He turns toward you, gently placing a hand down onto your shoulder. ''You should take some aspirin and get rest. Your mother would kill me if anything too bad happened to her only daughter.'' You could only nod, still a bit dizzy from today's events and the fall.
Climbing into your suite bed and turning off the lamp light, you take a look at the moon outside and noticed that it was oddly brighter than normal. Too tired to care, you slowly nestled yourself down underneath the heavy sheets, falling asleep.
The amulet on the nightstand now glowing the same shade as the moon.
