It has been a total of two weeks since their secret courtship began. Of course, you were just buying time until it was right to tell your parents this. Good thing that skirt was easy to burn in the backyard.

School was, for the main part, uneventful thankfully. However, hiding the fact that you are now engaging in a sexual relationship with your boyfriend who, by the way, is actually 5,000 years older than you from your parents was difficult. And a little creepy when you really think about it. Fortunate for you, you stopped dealing with those non believer type of people long ago. Your bedroom was above a freaking funeral home for pete sakes. So of course you would believe in some semblance of magic. After all, the dead rites did have curses placed on them.

''Um, Y/N. Mr. Larosin's here to see you. And...Atem is it?'' Oh, that's right. In order to proceed with the courtship, you had to give the person who's courting you their name to your father to give his blessing. But since you hadn't told them yet and trying to keep him from saying anything about it...yeah. No drama for now. For now.

The living room downstairs was reeked with tension and apprehension. And for good reason. Forest green eyes stared down at the coffee table, deep in thought before staring back at both you and Atem. Clearing his throat, he places a eight spiked ring on the glass. ''...He has returned Atem. My damned, accursed father is back.'' his voice thick with venom and pure hate. ''I don't understand, who's back?'' Violet and green glanced at each other before Larosin sighs. ''...That isn't my real name. It's Vanin.'' you grew even more confused. ''But, during the field trip, you told me that he...'' you point at Atem. ''Didn't have a name!'' ''I had to lie. For your sake. You see, I am a servant and loyal friend of your suitor here. And the one who had told him to find the reincarnation of his betrothed the night his kingdom burned to ash. I just did not think that he would take that so literal and accomplish that.'' A soft but dark glare was pointed towards him before he sweat drops. ''I-In any case, Atem, what are we going to do about my father? If he's here, this stupid ring will tell him where you are.''

He suddenly shivers at the sudden shifting of temperature in the room as did you. Larosin gives a sympathetic glance. ''I honestly feel sorry for you, little one. To have go through all of this insanity'' He jumps at the vicious glare that was directed at him from the tan male sitting across from him. ''B-But I do commend you though; not many females had come this far with him and remained sane.'' That growl came back. Of all the damn times for that fool to once again, get in his way. Damn him!

''Sane?'' ''Yes. Let us just say that, he can be very possessive shall we say. And temperamental when it comes to others around the intended one he's chosen as his bride.'' Oh, that? She's seen that part of him already. ''Actually...I'm quite fine with that. Content really.'' The curator gives you a strange and shocked looked. ''Y-You...What? You're...fine with this?'' You blinked. ''He explained everything you're telling me after the bonding mark-'' ''YOU MARKED HER ALREADY?!'' ''Watch your tone with me. And yes. She accepted by her own consent and will.'' The brown haired male slouches in his seat, rubbing his temples. ''My king, this is serious! Y-You can't just do that without her father's consent nor blessing--'' ''We had both agreed that on my 17th birthday; which is tomorrow, that I'll let him tell my parents.''

''Y-You two...'' He racks a hand through his hair, laughing under his breath. ''You hadn't changed at all.'' A clothed arm drapes itself around your shoulder. ''Clearly.''

''I...Can tell that we'll have to discuss important matters at a more appropriate time.'' Larosin mutters under his breath. ''...Don't want to end up like the last servant who interrupted.'' The pharaoh's anger can be scary sometimes.
