A wretched, foul stench reached his nostrils and very abruptly, almost harshly pushing himself away and out of the kiss he started. It made him gag until he found out the source of the odor. Oh, right. The bodies. You started to panic, warm and fuzzy haze now cold. ''I-I'm going to get in trouble for this. Big trouble! No, worse than that! Jail! I'll...!'' Atem firmly takes ahold of your shoulders lightly shaking you. ''Calm down. It is not that bad as it looks.'' You gave him a 'what the hell?!' look. ''N-Not...Not bad?! Atem, you killed...!'' ''This wouldn't had happened if they didn't ask.'' ''I know but--'' ''So what is the problem?'' Obviously death was common but this is the modern era. There are rules and if you break them, there will consequences. ''If the hotel staff, or anyone comes in here, they'll more than likely pin this all on me and I'll be labeled as a murder!'' Deep amethyst eyes narrowed sharply. ''That will not happen. I won't allow it.'' Jerking your face up to only see his before the entire room went black.
Blackness and violet star like wisps loft about. The entire space felt strange and cold. ''Wh...Where are we? What did you do?!'' ''This is the shadow realm. Where all beings that are opposite of light reside. Now stay close. I'd like to get this over with as quickly as possible.'' Nodding quickly, you step into stride along side him practically connected to his hip. That was when you noticed that odd pyramid shaped necklace around his neck. How could you not have saw that before? ''That golden pyramid. What is it?'' His eyes glanced down at it for a second. ''I will explain everything once this ordeal is over.'' The sudden stern tone in his voice made you falter for a second. Geez, this is all too much. The smoke like fog shifted and curled about, as if phantoms. Nothing but complete silence lulled about and throughout. You noticed a annoyed scowl on his face. ''Give me just a moment, and I'll have this opened.'' What opened? Holding the necklace up, it begin to glow a bright light, sending all surrounding dark creatures scattering further into the shadows.
Once it dimmed down, a giant stone door appeared. Thousands upon thousands of hieroglyphics etched along the sides and on the surface. You couldn't believe what you were seeing let along experiencing. Is this what ancient magicians used when performing rituals? That chanting came back again and a gray colored aura circles around him before shooting up and outward casting the pitch black sky of this place with small star like specks. It almost resembled the night sky. Almost. Those bodies, now corpses were piled on top of the other, it didn't disturb you as much. The bright light returned and the two of you were back in the hotel room, now spotless and clean. Now that disturbed you, knowing what had transpired in here. That made you shiver.
