Damn sunlight. Stupid birds making so much chirping noises. We get it, it's morning. Shut up! Sleepy E/C eyes blink at the light shading the room in a soft warmth. You soon go stiff, realizing something wasn't right. Meekly, you turn your head over towards the now awake king. You shuffle nervously, leaning over further onto your side. You don't like being watched. ''Were you awake this whole time?'' He blinks. ''No.'' Liar. ''You lie.'' He frowns. ''I wasn't.'' Too early to be arguing. Yawning again, you snuggle underneath the blankets only to jump as when the male starts to follow suit. Both faces now a bright shade of pink, you shyly move over but that didn't work. You were pulled back against his chest, face once pink now a deep, unknown shade of red. Too close. Too close! ''Need I remind you that I don't cope well sleeping alone?'' You stuttered horribly before surrendering to his warmth.

And fate decides to make things even more worse than they already are. The door knocked. Your blood ran cold. Oh no. ''Y/N? It's that curator guy from the excavation site. Says he wants to see you about something important.'' A boy's muffled voice came from the other end. ''A-Alright! T-Thank You Kory.'' A muffled ''No Problem!'' came before it left. You sagged against Atem. That was close. For some reason though, his hold on you had tightened. Concern immediately crossed your face. ''Atem...?'' His eyes had become narrowed in irritation. Near anger to be correct. A real growl left him, scaring you. ''Atem!'' Deep violet eyes suddenly blinks before he starts to inhale deeply in a effort to calm himself. What was that about?

''...I will escort you to this scholar.'' This made you panic. No! Absolutely not! Bad enough this guy had already stolen your first kiss and...just no! ''Y-You can't!'' A eyebrow raised at your panic. ''No one knows what happened in here and it's going to stay that way. No board game. No creepy summoning. Nothing.'' The blankets were thrown off and you scrambled off the bed heading toward the bathroom shutting the door behind. At this, the young king only chuckles at your jumpy behavior. Priorities first then. Puzzle glowing, he was there before sinking against the wall's shadow vanishing completely.

''...Hello Vanin.'' Larosin's face paled before his eyes narrowed at the man before him. ''How? How the fuck did you get out?!'' The young man's vulgar language grated on Atem's nerves but he smiled nevertheless. ''Come now. Is that anyway to greet your king?'' ''Bullshit.'' ''My, such language.'' ''What do you-'' His eyes suddenly widen. That damn amulet. ''...How were you awakened?'' He shrugs. ''I did nothing. My betrothed however...'' Larosin's eyes narrowed dangerously. ''You touch that girl, and I'll--'' A dark burst of energy launched forth, sending the college student back, his skull cracking against the brick wall making him see stars. ''You will do nothing, servant.'' feeling blood in the back of his throat, he forces it down. ''You should've never had taken my advice! You could've just let your kingdom fall!'' Rage was choking the small room.

''Let my...? You dare ask such a question! What would you have done if in my shoes Vanin?! The gods had turned their backs on me. On all of us!'' The once soft and gentle tone he had when around you was twisted into anger and hurt once again at the memories. Larosin's eyes, still enraged had soften a bit. ''...Her death was unavoidable. You shouldn't had gone looking for her.'' A laugh, one that unsettled him greatly came from the other. ''I have. And I've never felt happier in all my years of being sealed away!'' A near crazed aura slipped from him. ''She looks just like her, but I'm no fool dwelling on the past dead. I know it isn't entirely her. I won't mistake her for someone of my past I couldn't save. What's dead is dead.''

''You used the board to pass through didn't you?'' ''They wouldn't be quiet.'' This worried Larosin. ''They?'' His face paled once more. ''Sire. What did you do?'' No response. ''My king?'' Nothing. ''Pharaoh?!'' Finally, a cracked smirk came onto his face. ''It's been too long. Since I had to kill something.'' He vomit onto the floor beside him. This was not good. ''Y-You can't go around killing people like that anymore!'' his near feminine shriek amused him. ''I could say the same for you. Son of the Thief.'' His eyes narrow. ''My bastard father was a fool trying to kill you. Don't bring him up again in front of me.''
