(BROTHERS ARE 18 NOW AND YOU'RE 18)

Your POV

We walked off the plane, only to be suddenly be surrounded by fangirls that were screaming. I quickly lost Marcus and Martinus. I grabbed Katie's hand and led her away. Once we were out I started looking around when I spotted them. My parents ran towards us and engulfed us into a bone crushing hug.

"(Y/n) I'm so happy to see you and Katie! Where did your friend go though?" My mom asked while looking around for Marcus.

I sweatdropped and pointed to the group of fangirls. All you could make out was a blonde tuft of hair that that's it.

"He's who all of these girls came to see? Huh, I didn't expect that." My father said while shaking his head.

"A-Actually there's two of them." Katie said while having a weak smile on her face.

"YOU MEAN THERE'S TWO OF THEM?!" My mother shouted in shock.

"Surprise they're twins!" I said while smiling. Just them my phone chimed.

From: Marcus <3

:Where did you run off to?

I quickly type in a reply.

To: Marcus <3

: To the left of the fangirls by the back wall.

I sent the text and I saw him look over at us. He pointed it out to his brother and the guards helped them get through the group of raging fangirls. Soon, both of the brothers had made it to us.

"You think you'd get used to that after a while huh?" Martinus said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Ah! (M/n), (F/n)! It's so nice to meet you in person. I'm Marcus Gunnarsen, and this is my brother Martinus." Marcus said while shaking my parent's hands.

They quickly engaged in small talk as I turned to Katie.

"Was this a good decision? My mother's probably going to freak when we're not in public." I said while sweat dropping.

"I'm not so sure anymore, but they seem to be getting along just fine." Katie said as she pointed behind me.

I turned to see my parents laughing at something Marcus had said. I sighed in relief. I them remembered we were still in the airport.

"Hey guys, sorry to interrupt but, we're still kinda in the middle of the airport." I pointed out.

"Oh yeah!" Marcus said in realization.

"Follow us." The boys said in perfect sync as they led us to outside of the airport.

When we got there a shiny black car pulled up. The boys were about to get in when my mother shook her head.

"Oh no you don't! If you boys are staying at my house, we're going to do things my way." My mother said while leading them to her car.

I weakly laughed. I saw Marcus give the driver the signal to leave and it took off. The boys Katie and myself crammed into the car and my parents took the front seat. My father was driving while my mom was asking questions.

"So, boys, when did you meet my daughters." My mom said while acting like Katie's mom as well. (A/n: Your mom is basically Katie's second mom so she call her her daughter as well!)

"A few years ago, but we met Vernon before we met them." Marcus said while looking out the window at the passing scenery.

"Yeah, we met (Y/n) at that one soccer game." Martinus said while looking at Katie.

"I was also informed that you two were the reason my little girl was put into the hospital." My mom said after a long time of silence.

The atmosphere changed to one of anger, guilt, and sadness. I looked down at one of the many scars on my arm, thinking about what that girl did to me. About the looks I get when I'm out in public, the whispers. I felt a tear go down my cheek. I quickly wiped it and looked out the window. I felt Marcus take my hand in his when he spoke up.

"Yes, it is our fault. We should've known something like this would happen, I should've been more careful watching her. It's my fault and I'm sorry!" Marcus basically screamed at this point. His bangs were covering his face. So it wasn't until I felt warm drops on my hand did I know that Marcus was crying. I was shocked at what had come out of his mouth. I never knew he felt that way. I squeezed his hand.

"Marcus... look at me." I said as my head was down.

I saw him hesitantly look at me. The look on his face broke my heart. His eyes were red, he had guilt written all over his face. His hair was messy from it being in his face. I pulled him into a hug.

"Marcus, it's not your fault. I knew that there was a possibility something similar to it would happen, but I took the chance. And I chose to face the actions that came with that decision. Nothing you could've done would have changed that." I weakly smiled as I pulled away wiped Marcus's tears away.

"It's my job to protect you, but I can never forgive myself knowing that I let that happen to you." Marcus quietly muttered.

"Well then let's focus on the present okay? Together." I smiled brightly and slightly giggled.

A small smile soon formed on his face as he once again took my hand in his. We then heard the sound of someone blowing their nose in a tissue.

"That was absolutely beautiful! I have made up my mind! I like you! You have permission to date my daughter!" My mom said as she dried some stray tears.

"Well, this car ride has been super emotional." Katie said as she looked around. We all laughed and made idle chatter.

Our car pulled into the driveway of my house as nostalgia filled my head. Since my parents moved back into my old house and I stayed I haven't seen this place in a while. I went to get my stuff out of the car but was soon engulfed in yet another bone crushing hug. My brother stood there smiling widely. I didn't even notice that Marcus had gotten my stuff. My brother picked me up bridal style and took me into the house so we could talk about all that's happened...
