After that little mishap everyone got along with Koen and got to know him better. Katie decided that she was going to stay until after the wedding because she didn't want to miss anything. Koen also decided that he was going to stay because he had just learned about the wedding and it was a few days after he had originally planned to leave. (Y/n)'s parents planned to travel to Norway soon so (Y/n)'s mom could help plan the wedding. Since Vernon, (Y/n)'s brother, was still unmarried, (M/n) was bursting at the seams from excitement about her daughter's big day. (Y/n) had made sure to start planning the wedding before her mother came, just so she couldn't change anything and so her mother would know the basic theme and design for the wedding. Koen and Katie helped (Y/n) look through dresses, Katie was going to be (Y/n)'s maid of honor, and her cousin Alayna and some other family members would help fill the roll as bridesmaids. Martinus was going to be the best man and some of their friends and family would help to fill in as the other men. The wedding was still about a month or two away, and (Y/n) was already feeling nervous about it. She sat down on the couch with Koen and Katie to start planning the basic things.
Your POV I sat down with a bunch of magazines and my laptop and cell phone by my side and we got started. "Okay, do you want a fancy wedding or a normal basic wedding?" Katie asked. I trusted Katie since she went to school for designing things like weddings. "Hm, probably a (Fancy/Basic)." I said while making sure to think through my options. "Okay okay, now how about a theme color? Any specific color?" Koen asked as Katie scribbled some stuff down. "(Yes/No), (color if yes)." I said as I flipped through the magazine. There were so many different, beautiful and elegant designs to choose from. I wanted to wait until Marcus could be here, but he insisted that he would love any design I chose. So, here I am now. I suddenly snapped back into reality when Katie was calling my name. "-(/n) (Y/n)!" I heard Katie calling. "What?" I said as I suddenly snapped back. "I asked what color flower pedals you wanted?" Katie said as she gave me a weird look. "Oh, sorry, (F/c)" I said. "Great! They'll go great with the (Theme color if you chose one)!" Koen suddenly blurted out. Katie and I looked at each other then giggled. This was going to be fun! After a long day of planning things for the wedding, I was in the kitchen cooking for Koen and Katie when my phone buzzed, indicating I had a text. I found a place where I could stop for a second and picked up my phone. It was a text from my mother. "Hey sweetie! I just thought I'd let you know that your father and I are catching a flight tomorrow to help plan the wedding!" The text said. I instantly felt a cold chill run through my body. It took a few seconds before I could reply. "Are you sure? You don't have to come down until later." I replied. "Oh no! I wanna help you plan the whole thing!" My mom replied. I felt fear running through me. You see, I love my mother dearly. But when it comes to planning weddings, she can get a little, out of hand. I quickly finished the food and served it to Koen and Katie. I couldn't eat anything, I had lost my appetite due to nerves. After the two had finished eating I made the living room into a sort of bedroom for my parents. I would have them in my room but Katie and Koen are already in there. All I can do is make it as comfortable as I can. I wandered into my room to try and get as much sleep as I can. I had to slowly make my way around Koen and Katie, who had fallen asleep almost immediately. After about 10 minutes of trying not to step on any limbs, I finally made my way to my bed, which by then, was already calling my name. I slowly climbed into bed and drifted off to sleep. *Time skip to about an hour later* I was sleeping so soundly, that was, until I was abruptly woken up my Katie and Koen. "TIME TO WAKE UP!!!" Koen screamed as they came in and turned the lights on. I slowly turned over. My hair fell in front of my eyes, a dark aura came off of me. I slowly looked up at them. They were acting happy, that was until they saw the dark expression that loomed on my face. They paled and slowly backed away.
"I'll have you know that I've gotten an hour of sleep, and if you really want to deal with me I suppose you shut the light off and close the door." I said menacingly. They slowly backed away, they then broke out into a full on run and shut the light off and slammed the door.
KATIE AND KOEN'S POV Katie and Koen sat there in fear, Katie pulled out her phone and shakily pulled up Marcus's contact. She pressed call and hoped he answered. After a few rings he finally picked up. "Katie? What's up?" Marcus asked sleepily from the other side of the phone. "Ehehe, well you see.... We kind of, need your help." Katie said nervously. "MARCUS COME SAVE US! (Y/N) IS LIKE A DEMON!" Koen screamed dramatically into the phone. "Did you guys try and wake her up? Because if you did, especially you Katie, should know that you shouldn't wake her up this early." Marcus said from the other side of the phone. "Well you see, we wanted to surprise her, but, that didn't exactly turn out so well." Katie said. Suddenly Koen came back into the room, he was wearing a full suit of armour and was holding a plastic sword at the ready. "I'm prepared for battle!" Koen said as he marched around. "I'll be right over." Marcus said, obviously having heard Koen's exclamation. "Please hurry." Katie said as she pressed the end call button. After Katie put her phone away, she looked up and Koen was still marching around. She went into another room and after a few minutes she came out, also dressed in armour. "To get to the demon, you must first pass through me!" Katie said bravely as she held out a plastic sword. Koen and Katie both ran at each other, quietly as to not to wake the monster sleeping in the next room.
