When Marcus came up to me the woman looked at me in awe.
"You know Marcus and Martinus Gunnarsen?" The woman asked as her eyes were wide.
"Y-Yeah, I guess you could say we know each other..." I said as my face heated up., embarrassed to admit that I more than knew Marcus.
"My daughter is a huge fan, and I'm a little bit of a fan myself." The woman said as she blushed. "Do you think I could get a picture with you and your brother?" The woman asked as she spoke to Marcus.
Marcus accepted almost immediately and called his brother over for a picture. They took about 3 and then the woman let them be, it took her awhile but she realized that they must have had a reason to come to the shop.
"OH! I'm so sorry, are you here to look at tuxes? *gasp* WHO'S THE LUCKY GUY?" The woman asked as her eyes lit up.
Martinus smiled and pushed his brother in a playful way.
"Here's your groom right here." Martinus said as he smirked.
I was too busy dying of embarrassment to notice the look Martinus was giving Katie. Before I could notice Katie pushed my into Marcus, sharing the smirk Martinus had on his face.
"And here's your bride." Katie said as her and Dani high fived.
The shop owner's eyes lit up immediately and couldn't keep in her screams of excitement.
"YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER!" The woman screamed.
She gasped once more and looked at the counter where she was previously in the process of wrapping the dress up. She somehow sonic sprinted towards the counter and leaped over it, taking the dress with her.
"Can't have the surprise being spoiled now can we?" The woman said as she attempted to compose herself.
"Oh! We need to look at bridesmaid dresses!" I said as I suddenly remembered.
"Oh yes!" The shopkeeper said as she clasped her hands together. "Go on boys, go do your thing, I have to help these wonderful ladies find the perfect bridesmaid dresses.
As we were walking back to the other dress section I noticed someone else walking into the store, Koen, he seemed to be trailing behind a bit. I was kind of glad he didn't have to witness that whole ordeal. I excused myself and went to go talk to him.
He was looking around trying to find his way. I hobbled over to him and waved.
"Hey Koen! Running a little behind?" I asked as I made my way to him.
"Eheheh...Yeah..." Koen trialed off.
"The guys went to the back to look at the tuxes I have to go check on Katie and Dani, who knows what kind of dresses they'll choose, they're probably fighting over something right now.
I sent Koen off to where the guys went and stood there for a second. I heard Katie and Dani getting increasingly louder and I hobbled as fast as I could to see what was happening.
When I got to the scene both girls had on dresses. Dani's was a dark purple short sleeved mid length dress with a light purple sash around the waist. Katie's dress was a lighter purple that had purple laced sleeves, it was longer and cut into a v down the back. Both tried to convince me that their dress was better. While I liked both dresses, neither of them really sparked with me. They got so into trying to persuade the other that their dress was better, so I was able to wander off without being noticed.
I looked through the sea of purple dresses, just looking for the one that caught my eye. I didn't even notice that the background noise has stopped. I saw a purple dress and pulled it out. It didn't look like the rest. It was unique. It was a dark purple, it didn't touch the floor but it was close. There was a slit in the left side, it didn't have any trace of sleeves, the chest went into a choker that sat comfortably around the neck. I carried the chosen dress over to where the two sat, no longer fighting, but refusing to give up on each dress.
"You guys can give up now, I've chosen a dress." I said while holding the dress behind my back.
Both girls looked at me with a look of surprise and a hint of sadness.
"Show us!" Both girls demanded happily.
I took the dress from behind my back and showed them. Both girls' eyes lit up, we got another one of the dresses and had Dani and Katie try them on at the same time. When they came out they agreed this was the dress. I was about to grab a third dress for (C/n), when I was interrupted by a phone call.
I went to a quiet place and answered the phone.
"Hello? (Y/n)?" A voice asked from the other end.
"Speaking." I replied.
"It's (FC/n)! I wanted to let you know that (MC/N) (Male cousin name) and I are coming early to help with set up!" (FC/n) said excitedly.
"Yay! When are you coming?" I asked as I paced slightly.
"Eheheheh, well about that... we are about to board our flight and we'll be there tomorrow." (FC/n) said.
"Oh okay, I'll let Marcus know." I said as we finished up the conversation.
I walked back to the dress section and told everyone what was happening. We got the dresses and waited for Marcus, Martinus, and Koen to be ready to go.
