Lilac's POV

--Morning--

I walk down to the basement to store some junk that was in the closet. I saw that the closet door was open.

"What?" I ask myself.

I open the door and walk in. Bottles. Bottles and bottles of alcohol are sitting there.

"What!" I squeak.

I run upstairs. Up to Adam's door.

"ADAM!! OPEN THE DOOR!" I yell.

"What!" He swings open the door.

"Why is there alcohol sitting in the basement?" My voice lowers to a whisper.

"Um.. Uh," He rubs his hand together,

"Come here." He pulls me into his room.

"What?"

"Promise you won't tell." I pleads.

"Promise. Now tell me." I fold my arms across my chest.

"I got it for Jenny. I promised I'd get her some. I don't know why she needs it.." He took a deep breath. "But I got it for her. I feel dumb. I'm sorry. You can't tell her I told you."

"Jenny?!?" My voice was harsh yet quite.

"Yeah." His head dropped a little.

I collapsed on the floor crying. Adam pulled me up by my hands. He picked me up bridal style and carried me out the door.

"What are you doing?" Mitch ask as we walk into our room.

"I found her in the elevator crying. I didn't want to bother you so I just carried her in here." Adam shrugged.

He carefully laid me down on the bed. I curled into a ball still sobbing. Adam and Mitch were talking but it was too faint for me to hear. I fell asleep to the murmurs of Adam and Mitch's voices.

--1 Hour Later--

"Get up." I hear a voice. It's quite and familiar.

"What?" I ask shading my eyes from the light.

The blurry face comes into focus. It's Adam. He looks worried.

"It's Jenny. Jerome isn't here. He and Mitch went only god knows where. She's going insane. You need to help her."

"What's wro-?" I started to ask.

Adam picked me up like he did earlier that morning and carried me to the basement.

"Here she is." He said setting me down.

She was huddled in the corner of the closet guzzling the alcohol.

"JENNIFER!" I yell running over to her.

Her eyes are red and have dark circles under them. She had a delighted smile on her face.

"GIVE ME THAT!" I snatch the bottle out of her hand and smash it on the floor.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!" She stood up and slapped my face.

"NONE OF THAT IS GOING TO HELP YOU!" I slapped her back.

"YES IT WILL!!" She yelled back. She slid down the wall, picked up another bottle and started drinking it.

"JENNY!" I pulled her out of the closet and slammed her against the wall.

"LET GO OF ME!" She kicked my shins.

"I CAN'T! I NEED YOU TO STOP! I CAN'T LOSE YOU LIKE WE DID MOM!"

Her bloodshot eyes filled with tears. She slid down the wall. She curled into a ball. She started to cry louder.

"Jenny, you can't do this to yourself. I can't lose you. Your my best friend. Please. Stay strong." I sat down next to her.

"Thank you." Adam whispered into my ear.

He gave me a friendly kiss on the cheek. I blushed. He walked into the closet and grabbed all the bottles.

"I-I-I m-miss m-m-mo-mom s-so m-much." Jenny sniffled.

"I do too. But you need to get over it." I rubbed her back.

"I-I-I c-c-can't." She sobbed.
