Lilac's POV
"JENNY!! WHAT WAS THAT?!" I yelled, sprinting to her.
She collapses on the floor, crying, pounding the ground. The doorbell rings repetitively.
"I-I-I-ITS B-B-B-BEN!!" She screams.
I manage to sit down on the floor. I don't know what to do. She won't stop screaming. I panicked. I smack her. She stops and looks up. Her face has a white mark from where I hit her. Her face is red, so are her eyes. The tears coming down her face are like waterfalls.
"I'm so sorry." I mumble.
Loud footsteps come running down stairs, two pairs.
"JENNY!" Jerome screams.
"LILAC WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Mitch yells.
I turn over so my face is on the floor. Lily screams bloody-murder.
"I'll get Lily Jerome." Mitch says patting Jerome and running into the kitchen.
"Jenny, shhhhhhh." Jerome said trying to help her up.
I sit up and push myself over to the wall. Mitch comes in, Lily in his arms. My mind takes over and I'm imaging this;
~Amari is in his arms. Her long dark brown hair and her hazel eyes. Mitch doesn't have a shirt on, he's just in his underwear. Amari has on a cute little nightgown. She's giggling because Mitch is tickling her with his rough hands. I walk over and stand on the other side of Mitch. He wraps his arm around my waist. I lightly pinch Amari's cheek. She giggles and gives me her 4 tooth smile.~
I snap back into reality and realize I'm back in bed. I look at the clock, it's 9:36 AM. I turn over and Mitch isn't there. I pick up my phone and text him; Hey, did I really slap Jenny?
Yep he replied.
I get up and waddle down stairs. Ben is sitting on the couch, he's covering his left eye with ice. Lily is in her highchair. Jenny is sipping coffee. The left side of her face has a red handprint. Mitch is drinking water and Jerome is stuffing his face with food.
"Nice to see you finally woke up." Jenny smiled.
"What happened?" I asked, taking down my hair.
"You blacked out an hour ago." Mitch laughed.
"Oh." I said taking a seat.
"Pancakes?" Mitch asked.
"Yeah." I said putting my hair back up.
"Moreeeeee." Lily said banging her tray.
"Shut up Lily." I moaned.
"Lilac!!" Jenny said.
"Sorry, I have a headache."
"Tea?" Mitch asked.
"Yes please." I smiled.
Mitch brought me a plate of pancakes and a cup of caffeinated tea.
"Thanks." I smile and load my fork with food.
