Jerome's POV

I stay near Jenny the next few weeks, making sure she doesn't lose control. Ben nearly killed her with shock. She almost killed him by attacking him though...

Jenny and I decide to spend some alone time with Lily. We know that Lilac could have Amari at any time now. Lily needs as much attention as possible. Then again, it's not like Jenny and I are having another kid, this is Mitch and Lilac's.

"Lily, want a cracker?" I say, holding out a Teddy Graham. She nods and pokes it, then examining it. She then grabs it out of my hand.

"Oh my gosh! She's so smart!!" Jenny says.

"Lily is a very smart girl. I love you," I say. She laughs.

"Lily needs to be taught a few more words. I'm beginning to hate the words 'food' and 'more'."

"Let's teach her names. Lily, who's that?" I say, pointing to Jenny.

"Mommayy!" she says.

"Who's that?" Jenny says, pointing at me.

"Daddeeeeeeee!!" Lily says.

"Take us to Lilac," I say. Lily gets up and walks all the way to Lilac. "What about Mitch?" She takes us to Mitch aswell. "Jason?" She leads us the way to him. "Adam?" She points to Adam's door and puts her pointer finger on her lips.

"What about Dukey?" Jenny says.

"DUKKEEE!!!" Lily screams. Duke comes running up to Lily. She pets him and he licks her face.

"I want Amari to be this smart," Lilac says from behind us. She snatches up Lily and blow-farts on Lily's belly. "Hey, kiddo."

"Amari will be smart," Jenny says.

"How do you know? For all you know, she could end up retarded!"

"Lilac, calm down. You're having mood swings."

"How do you know?!" Lilac says, offended. Tears come up in her eyes.

"Mitch!!" I call.

Lily goes squirms around in Lilac's arms, probably trying to get to Mitch.

"Yeah?" he says.

"Lilac is having mood swings," Jenny says.

"Okay, I'll take of her," he says.

"Thanks," we say.
