When the front door opened Sam was still in the hallway, crying.
"Sam?!" Robert shouted. "What the hell did you do."
"You don't want to know!" Sam screamed as he glared at Robert. "It's all your fault!"
"What?" Robert replied. "Sam, tell me."
Sam felt a pain in his hand like it was being pressed into shards of broken glass as he gripped it to his chest.
"It doesn't matter to you!" Sam shouted back.
"Stop trying that!" Robert shouted. "Tell me what you did!"
Sam felt like he'd been stabbed in the opposite arm. The image of a knife piercing his flesh bringing up sickening memories.
Sam cried out in pain and stared at Robert in fear. He saw his face soften for a second.
"You aren't strong enough yet. Fuck off," Robert spat at him before he walked away. Sam picked himself up and ran back to the room as he curled up and cried again.
