BookBoy: Sam send me general logic questions to test my memory
Samuel: Who's your boyfriend
BookBoy: That isn't in the folder.
BookBoy: You are my boyfriend.
Samuel: It's general knowledge, it shouldn't be in the folder
BookBoy: Then don't send me questions.
Samuel: What comes after May 14th
BookBoy: May 15th
Samuel: My birthday
BookBoy: That doesn't matter right now. May 27th matters
"Sam? What're you doing? You look upset," Marc asked.
"What comes after May 14th?" Sam asked.
"May 15th, your birthday," he replied. "Why?"
"No reason. Does Damien know your favourite colour?" Sam asked.
Samuel: What's Marc's favourite colour?
"Nope," Marc replied.
BookBoy: Maroon. Like his sweater today
"Maroon like your sweater," Sam replied. "He does."
"Damn," Marc replied. "I gotta head out to set up the caf for the talent night. You coming along or meeting me there?"
"I don't want to go to see people sing sad songs and make people feel sad," Sam replied.
"Come on, it'll be fun. Damien will meet us there when it starts," Marc explained.
"Ha! Like hell he will!" Sam shouted, throwing his phone onto his bed.
"I told him how stressed you've been lately so he's coming along," Marc replied.
"Marc you can't get him worried about me. He's already busy enough. I'll text him not to come," Sam replied.
Marc grabbed Sam's wrists so he couldn't grab the phone and Sam frowned.
"Marcus, you don't want him to fail this test," Sam said.
"No, of course not," Marc replied. "Fine, he's your boyfriend, it's your choice."
It worked. He actually did it without saying it directly. Marc doesn't want him there and Sam didn't directly tell him that. It worked! He was getting better!
Samuel: You don't want to come to this talent thing. I know that. You don't need to worry about coming. Marc and I want you to stay home
BookBoy: No
Sam felt a sharp pinch on his leg and swatted at it before realizing it was just Damien's denial.
He wasn't strong enough yet to get over Damien.
"Maybe he'll just forget," Sam replied.
"Come help set up, take your mind off of it," Marc suggested.
"Yeah, whatever," Sam replied, pulling a sweater on over his shirt.
The walk back to the school was windy and, for Sam, annoying.
He didn't like dealing with the world in the first place right now and he was also exhausted from his nightmares.
Sam helped set up chairs and tables, pretty much following Marc and Megan around until they both disappeared and he listened to a conversation with some music students Marc and Megan knew. Marc knew everyone, though.
