"Marc are you excited?!" Sam shouted, throwing his suitcase onto his bed and running back to his dresser.
"Not as excited as you, it seems," Marc chuckled.
"It's a tradition! After hunting all year we get a break on Christmas and go hunt Angels in a different country! Grandma Owen is making me go, regardless of what mom says, my last hunt and I also get my knife back for the trip!" Sam exclaimed.
"Nice, so it's a hunt with your grandma?" Marc asked.
"It's whoever finds it, kills it. We're teaming against Hayley and Grandma. I've never killed it. Hayley's family found the place with an Angel and no hunters going for it, we find out the location in an hour when they drop off the tickets," Sam explained.
"This trip keeps sounding better. And I'm sure this won't be your last hunt. You gotta move out eventually and we'll drag you back," he explained.
"You'd better," Sam replied.
"Why are you packing before we know where we're going? Could be anywhere from Egypt to Iqaluit from how you're talking about it," Marc replied.
"We went to Egypt last year, and I've observed the hunter statuses through the cues some leave, almost all colder countries and overly warm places have been so locked down it's absolutely nothing to worry about," Sam replied.
"How do you know things like that?" Marc asked.
"I grew up taught by Hayley and her family, they're some of the best at tracking hunters around the globe, her father took care of our cues for us," Sam replied. "I'm getting packed, there's no time to waste in preparing! My parents handle Christmas stuff but we get the Angels."
"Just them?" Marc asked.
"And Hayley's. Grandma Owen just joins us teens because she's a hunter too, Hayley's parents prefer helping with the Christmas stuff," Sam explained. "It'll be almost weird running a hunt without Damien, I'll miss the guy having my back, he's good at keeping me alive."
"Heh, yeah it'll be weird to go for even a day without that pink haired dork around," Marc replied, chuckling slightly.
There was knocking on the door to their room and quickly after it opened.
"Here," Sam's mom said, holding out her hand. In it was the knife.
"Thanks mom! I need to get it travel ready, can't have them finding a knife in the luggage, can we," Sam joked.
"I don't like this," his mom replied.
"I'll be safe, I promise," Sam replied. "I have Marcus here to protect me, too! This is my last hunt, I swear."
"It had better be," she replied, leaving the room.

Time skip to after they land and get to the hotel.
____"Welcome to Greece!" Hayley shouted, walking up from behind Sam and grabbing his shoulders. "Here's the Angel card for you and Marc, don't lose it it's the only source of info you have! Remember, no hunting until tomorrow, even if you swear you found them."
"I know, I know, team Sam wishes you luck," Sam replied, taking the card from her.
"I believe our ship name is Marcuel," Marc corrected.
"Game on!" Hayley cheered. Sam and Marc left to their room whilst pulling their bags behind them, Sam and Marcus both reading the card at the same time.
"Lame hunt," Marc commented.
"Marc, this isn't the real hunt, this is a gag, we're headed out the second we set our bags down, these are just fun to read over. Hunting isn't about rules, it's about killing the Angel," Sam replied. "Plus, this is a joke at how I bought doughnuts last year and they undercharged me, they were good though, remember I brought some back for you and Damien."
