We all went our separate ways after everybody congratulated Grayson on his success. Ethan and Chris carried Grayson to his car while I drove him home. Ethan asked if I wanted him to stay tonight to help out, but I told him to not worry about it. I truly just wanted it to be Grayson and I alone together, but he continued to offer his help. I think Tara picked up on what I was doing, and helped me out by telling Ethan to take her to his favorite pancake place. He left without a complaint. Thank God for Tara.

For the next week when Grayson was bed ridden, I was at his side. Ethan was finally home from Rhode Island, so we would switch shifts when I had to work. I usually took the day shift, but when I had to work at Starbucks the girls would come over. Ethan took the night shift as I had to strip at night. Chris would pick me up from Grayson's apartment then proceed to take Kayla and I to work.

When Grayson was awake, we usually ate, cuddled, watched movies, or talked. I made us smoothies when he was hungry. I put new bandaids on his cuts and changed out his ice when it began to melt. I put cream and gel on his cuts when he slept because he didn't like the feeling of the creams or gels. I picked up his meds when he ran out of them. I was his own personal nurse. We spent almost ever waking moment together. Sometimes he did work for the gang, and paid off his debts and went over his credit scores.

During the times Grayson was asleep, I did adult things like pay off my taxes and debt. I even finished my short story. When Grayson woke up, I would read him the beginning and call back Ms. Heart's assistant to tell him I was ready to send it in. I was excited and nervous at the same time. I put my all into this one, so if she rejects it, I truly feel like I will have a mental breakdown.

Though my writing anxiety kept me up some nights, my anxiety with Grayson kept me up more. I was convinced he knew me almost as well as Kayla. I wish I could say the same about him, but he's secretive. I told Ethan about my issues with his brother, and he admitted he has issues. I asked him why, but he told me that's something Grayson's going to have to tell me. It was annoying, but I could see where he was coming from. I was trying to be patient, but I'm not sure I could wait much longer. I wanted to know everything about him because I truly cared about him. I was comfortable with him, and I trust him. It scared me, but I didn't want to deny it.

It was Sunday morning, the last day Grayson had to stay in bed before he could start getting up and doing things for himself. The swelling in his face had went away a few days ago, but his ribs still had a couple more days to go. I will say though they looked much better from the day after the fight.

The boys were coming over to the twins apartment. I asked if Lina or Lily would be coming, but Grayson said no because they had to go to Maine this weekend. Lina was launching a new hair product, and Lily was her human hair model for it. Grayson told me they should be back by tomorrow. I asked Kayla if she was coming, but she said no because she was interviewing for her new job at Hooters near Queens. She wanted to get more money to leave me before she moved in with Chris.

He asked her the semi big question last week. She said yes, of course, and of course she felt guilt for leaving me in that rat hole. I told her I understood, and she had nothing to be sorry for, but she wanted to leave me money for at least two months rent before she left.

So I was left to be the only girl this Sunday morning since I didn't have to go to work this morning. All my other friends were either working or in school, so I didn't bother to ask them.

Grayson and I were in the bathroom before the boys got here while Ethan was in the living room watching TV. Grayson was taking a shower while I was getting ready by washing my face and brushing my teeth. I still was in my underwear and tank top, but at least I did my hair. Eventually, he got out of the shower just in time for me to rinse out of my mouth from toothpaste. I looked up to see him wrap the towel around his waist. The sight of him getting out of the shower like this reminded me of the first time I spent the night over here. Oh how times have changed.
