"Lily can you please help me fit my big ass in this fucking dress," I asked as I couldn't get my wrap around my head.
She walked over to me with her heels thudding against the wooden floor. I felt her take a hold of the wrap.
"I see the cold in Philly has gotten under your skin," she told me as she pulled it over my head without messing up my hair.
"Nah that's just the baby kicking. I feel your pain girl," Lina told her as she was now straightening and pinning up her second daughter's hair.
"I mean I only have to carry one around. You had to carry two."
"Yea but it was worth it. Trust me," she said before kissing her two twin daughters on the cheek.
They giggled and kissed her back on the cheek. I smiled at the scene. I couldn't wait for that to be Grayson and I's son. I rubbed over my belly before looking down at the human growing inside of me. I would've shed a tear if it wasn't for Lily already doing my makeup.
"See this is why I can't have kids. I already have to deal with Frank, and that's enough for me," Lily commented.
"Well you have a lot more on your plate. You have to travel everywhere for your fashion shows, and Frank's movie premieres. I don't see how you would have time to fit kids in your schedule," I said.
"You have to do as much as me. You have to go on book tours worldwide Ms. Best Selling Author."
"Ms. New York Times."
I laughed at Lily and Lina. They haven't changed one bit.
"When are you publishing your book again?" Kayla asked walking into the room in her underwear.
She already had her hennas painted on that began at her forearms, and stopped at her hands. I'm assuming she did them herself. Lina's daughters cheered when they saw her, and they ran over to her. She laughed and kneeled down to hug them.
"How are my flower girls?"
"Buen tía," they answered back in unison.
"Cariño, habla en inglés por favor, ya sabes que tu tía entiende el español mug poquito," Lina told them as she was putting on her earrings.
"Good auntie," they corrected themselves.
Kayla laughed before kissing them on the cheeks before they went back over to Lina. Kayla stood back up and walked over to put her earrings on.
"I'm publishing it before this baby pops out," I told her.
"What's it about Auntie?" Grace asked.
"Yea is it about you and uncle Gray?" Hope asked which caused Grace to giggle.
"In a way. It's called Hot Meets Cold because I'm from Oakland, California, and he's from New Jersey, but it's about this girl who meets this guy who teaches and shows her a whole other way of living while she expands his views on life itself. They're different in their own ways, but that's what makes them such a good couple. Just like hot and cold can make warm weather or a tornado, and that's the part you have to read to find out. Whether they're gonna make a tornado or warmth. I will tell you this though they're a team and partners. They kinda work like your mom and dad, and that's why they end up lovers because they fit so well together."
Lina smiled at that mention while Grace and Hope were listening intently to my words.
"So is that why people get married? Because they're a team?" Hope asked.
"People get married for all types of reasons, but that's the reason why Uncle Gray and I got married."
"Why did you and daddy get married?" Hope asked Lina.
