Chapter 60

Gabe tucked his gun back in before facing us.
"Sorry you had to see that ladies. I hope you all realize that you being injured was never a part of the plan."

"But kidnapping us was?" Kayla asked.

"Very much so."

"Why?" I asked.

"Well now that these dumbasses are out of the way I can explain your reasoning being here. Your husbands and boyfriends all experienced random text about you all the days before this. That was a distraction, so we could kidnap you. We kidnapped you because Lina," he now turned to face her. "You should've never hit and spit on me. And Cindy," he now turned towards me. "Your boyfriend should've never beat Landon that bad."

"He was saying how he was going to rape me!" I shouted with anger.

He shrugged. "I don't care. He shouldn't have done it." He turned to face Kayla. "Kayla, your boyfriend should've never threatened me the way he did that night outside of the Strip House." He faced Lily now. "And Lily you should've never said some slick shit under your breath that night. You all are here because of you or your significant others bad doings. This is Karma, and she is a bitch."

"Gabe this is ridiculous," Lina told him.

"This is necessary," he said back. "Now enough with the small talk let's get to work. Kayla and Lily the both of you will dig up three holes, so we can bury the bodies."

"Gabe it's 40 degrees outside and it's snowing!" Lily tried to reason with him.

"Well the faster you dig the less time you'll have to spend outside. I want at least two holes down before twelve in the morning. That gives you two more than twelve hours to dig."

"What bout food, water, things to keep us warm?" Kayla added on to the list of reasons why what he was asking them to do was insane.

"You will be given layers of clothes, and winter coats and gloves and scarfs made out of real fur to keep you warm. You will be fed dinner and lunch when it's time. Water will be provided by Owen who will be watching the two of you, you know just in case you guys try to escape. You can use the restroom no longer than a minute, and don't try to do any sneaky shit in there because the door will be open, and you will be watched. Any more questions?"

When Lily and Kayla came up quite, Gabe ordered Owen to show them where to get dressed. Now it was Lina and my turn to listen to our instructions. I was terrified.

"You two will be cleaning up the mess. I expect the two of you to get done quicker than Kayla and Lily. You also have the same type of privileges as them."

"Which is?" I asked.

"Food, water, and restroom under a minute. You all will be getting cleaning supply. Any questions?"

"How long are you holding us?" Lina asked.

"Until I feel as all of you have gotten your karma."

Lina and I didn't talk to each other as Bobby was watching our every move, and we were trying to get this done as quickly as possible. The feeling of throwing up came up way too often, but I had to hold it down. I didn't want to clean up another mess.

Later, I found out the background of the small room Lina, Bobby, and I were all in. We were in a shack in the woods very much upstate Bobby told us. He wasn't as bad as I thought he was. We were close to Maine as that's how high up we were. It was going to be impossible to find us. We had no phones, no wifi, no service, and we were surrounded by trees. Apparently, the closet source of help was more than an hour drive, and none of us had cars. I couldn't even see or find the keys to the car's the guys used to get up here.
