Niall's POV

"Alex!" I screamed at her. I banged on what seemed like glass as she walked down an aisle. She had a beautiful white, long dress. A wedding gown. She had the brightest smile I'd ever seen on her and looked absolutely gorgeous. She kept walking, despite my shouting. She couldn't hear me? Why couldn't she hear me? I continued to bang on the glass separating us as she turned to a man with brown hair. I couldn't see his face, but when Alex did, she lit up even more. Finally, I busted down the glass and was soon next to her.

"Alex!" I say, shaking her shoulder and she finally turns to me. But she wasn't smiling anymore, she was sobbing. The light in those beautiful eyes disappeared and were replaced with a sad gray. She wasn't in a white dress anymore, she was in black sweatpants and an old sweat shirt.

"You lied to me, you hurt me," she screamed at me.

"No, I didn't mean to. I fell in love and I can't lose you again!" I say but she shakes her head at me.

"Alex, please!" I shout but she already turned back around. She was in her dress again and we were back at the church. She says 'I do' and kisses him.

"No, Alex, please, don't leave me! Alex!" I scream, grabbing her hands.

"Niall! Niall, wake up!" Someone behind me shakes my shoulders.

"No!" I scream, open my eyes.

"Niall?" Louis asks.

"What the hell...." I look around me. I sat in what seemed like a pool of sweat. I sat up to see all my pillows had been thrown against the wall and my blankets were across the room.

"Did I do this?" I ask. Louis nods, "While screaming for Alex."

"I messed up," I say.

"It'll be ok. I promise, go back to sleep, its 5 AM," Louis tells me.

"Wow, so early," I mock him but he glares,"I'm going to get some water first," and I hope out of bed and run downstairs. Zayn and Liam were asleep, but Harry was awake.

"You heard that, didn't you?" I ask and he nods. I just grab a cup and fill it up with water. I drink it slowly, dreading having to go back to sleep. Being sleep deprived wasn't that bad, was it?

"What happened with you two?" Harry asks me.

"I told you, we're taking a break."

"Why?" he asks.

"Because I'm an asshole," I say.

"We all are, but what did you do?"

"What if I told you... when I got back together with Alex, I didn't have any feelings for her?" I say.

"Wait-- what? You got back together with a girl you didn't even want to get back together with? So the car accident, making her jealous with Peyton, shutting me out, were all for a show?!" Harry exclaimed. I should have known he'd be madder than anyone else. He was the know who had the most feelings for her, next to me. Her boyfriend. Oh. Her ex-boyfriend.

"No, it wasn't all a show! I didn't love her at first but then we went swinging and I guess I started to like her again but then she kissed you and... I lost it and I didn't know why and then after she was in the accident, I realized how much I loved her," I say.

"You didn't mess up, Ni. You fell in love. But I guess there's no difference."

"Yeah, I guess," I say.

"She stopped by to grab her stuff," Harry says. I freeze. She was here, and I didn't even know. I could've talked to her before she fled the country. I could've explained to her what happened, but I didn't. I grabbed my jacket and before I knew it, I was on a plane to Ireland.
