Chapter 4
Kissing Her
Josh's P.O.V
I enter the living room back with George and Zack not knowing what got me here from the first place.
"She is not here." George says in panic.
"Find Sasha now." I tell him knowing exactly her nasty games since I know her the most.
"I told you not to get her in any of this. She doesn't deserve this shit." I shout through the loud music.
"Chill, she isn't a child." Zack says sitting on one of the couches.
"Look for her or Sasha." George orders ignoring him.
"You look here and I will look upstairs." I tell him before he disappears through the crowd.
I go upstairs leaving Zack behind and enter each and every room hoping she is in an empty room all by herself.
I enter one of the rooms which I recognize since it's Austin's room to find her there.
She is sitting on his bed with her back to me and going through her phone which is lighting the dark room.
"Are you okay?" I ask knocking a few times. "Please stop knocking, my head hurts so bad." She says annoyed without turning to look at me.
I enter the room closing the door behind me knowing if Austin sees her here, it will piss him off.
I sit next to her on bed to find her going up and down through her contacts list. "I can't find my dad. I need to call my dad." She says breathing heavily and her phone starts buzzing before it shuts off.
"Perfect." She says laughing a bit before she buries her head in her hands.
"You know she hates me for no reason." She says still with her head buried in her hands.
"She was George's girlfriend that's why she hates you." I tell her and seeing her like this because of her pushes me to my edge.
What an innocent girl had to do with all of this?
"Oh shit." She says lifting her head up." What about you?" She asks glaring at me in the dark room which has no light but the street lights that are coming from the small window.
"What about me?" I ask her knowing exactly what she gave her that drove her to this.
"You remind me of Heathcliff somehow. You are an arrogant, cold-hearted gentleman." She says laughing at the end which makes me laugh a bit.
"Am I?" I ask looking back at her and she nods like a child.
"We shouldn't be here, plus George is worried about you." I tell her and she immediately stands dropping her phone on the ground.
She places her hair behind her ears trying to look for it but it's too dark in here.
I take out my phone from my pocket for lightening and bend down to get her phone.
"Here." I say handing her the phone while lighting the room with mine. "Is that a tattoo?" She asks touching the small "T" letter that I have on my arm veins.
"Yeah." I answer her. "Who's T?" She asks looking at me with bloodshot eyes.
"My father." I answer her as she keeps on touching it.
"What happened to him?" She asks raising her eyebrows.
"He died when I was a child." I answer and the questioning look turns into sympathy. "I'm sorry." She frowns moving her hand away.
"It's okay." I guarantee her smiling a little at her innocence.
"I'm afraid." She mumbles a few seconds after looking at the ground for a while. "It's okay, I'll get you home safely." I say lowering my voice to her level.
"No, you won't. You were so mean to me yesterday. You and your blonde-headed friend." She childishly says shaking her head in disagreement.
"Because I didn't want you to get in any of this." I tell her which makes her giggle.
She's beautiful. I've always thought she is ever since the first time I've seen her in the corridor. And now, that she is wearing a dress with her long brown hair straightened she looks more beautiful than ever.
"You are a terrible person." She says laughing now and I don't tell her anything.
She looks up at me with her innocent bloodshot eyes; telling me she never drank before. And I didn't notice how close she is to me.
Her lips slowly touch mine as I feel her warm breath quickening and I should stop her but for some reason I don't.
Only our lips are together now, she has those full red lips that taste very sweet yet so poisoning.
Seconds later she pulls away from me and glares at me with wide eyes. "I'm so sorry. I didn't know..." She innocently says looking at the ground.
"It's okay." I reassure her and she doesn't say anything. "My head hurts." She whines burying her face in her hands.
"Let me help you." I say taking her hands away which makes her frown. "Please." I beg and she nods in agreement.
I gently grab her arm and hold both of our phones in my other hand as we leave this fucking bedroom.
The music seems much louder right now which I'm sure made her head hurt even more but she doesn't say anything.
I lead her to the living room hoping George is there but I only find Zack, Austin and Sasha.
"Josh." She calls trying to let go of my grip but I stop her. "She's here." She tells me frowning her eyebrows.
"I will take care of her." I tell her and she shakes her head in disapproval. "I promise you." I continue and she gives in.
I take my phone as I place hers in my pocket and dial George's number.
It only rings twice before he picks up. "Yeah? Have you found her?" He asks.
"Yeah, meet me in the living room." I tell him and with that he hangs up.
"What's up with her?" Zack asks me which makes Austin smirk.
"Nothing, she's fine." I answer him as she sits on one of the couches.
"She's a little drunk." Sasha answers him with the same smirk but before I could say anything to her George rushes in.
"Is she okay?" George asks worried." Yeah, she is fine." I answer him. She is sitting on the couch to where I'm standing with her head back and her eyelids closed.
"Take my car keys and get her home safely." I say handing him the car keys.
We all live together George, Zack, I and sometimes Austin. And we only have two cars owned by Austin and I.
I watch as she leaves with him and disappears through the crowd. I don't know what it is about her, maybe the way she looks at me or the way she sees me but I can't take my eyes off of her.
"Hey Josh, we need to talk." Austin shouts over the music and stands up leaving the room and I follow him. He fights his way through the crowd going outside the house where there is less people.
"Since when do we get girls drunk?" I ask him as soon as he stops and it comes out louder than I intended it to be which grabs a few people's attention.
"Chill, she was safe in my room anyway." He smirks and I can feel the adrenaline rushing through my veins.
"You know I have cameras all over my room which are connected to my phone." He says smiling from ear to ear.
"What do you want?" I ask him boiling from the inside.
"Some respect." He tells me and with that he leaves going back inside.
I don't know what I got myself into but I'm aware of what I just got her in.
