Chapter 31
Josh's P.O.V
I have no idea who that is but right now I'm fighting every urge in me not to go there, hit him and take her with me; away from here and away from everything.
Feelings usually remind me of how pathetic I am. Cause they are nothing but pathetic. "You're staring." Zack says and I look away. She looks so fucking perfect and innocent right now, listening to every word he's saying and the way she is blushing right now. Fuck , she isn't supposed to blush for anyone but me.
"Come on, I want to talk to her." I tell Zack standing but he grabs my arm stopping me." I wouldn't do that if I were you. Just let her be happy for once man." He tells me and I sit back knowing that it's a fact; she's never happy when she is with me and that's when George and Chloe appear.
Both approach her and she stands to greet them and introduces them to whoever he is.
"She never told me about him." I hear Chloe saying to George once they leave and come to where Zack and I are sitting. "Hey." George greets careful of what to say next. "Austin and Sasha didn't come yet?" Chloe asks and I leave it to Zack to answer her.
I keep my eyes on her, noticing how happy she is; knowing that's what she deserves. Someone who would listen to her, someone who would spend the night by her side, someone who would take her to a fancy restaurant or at least be seen with her without getting her kidnapped or killed, and someone who her father didn't kill his father and is seeking into killing him too.
I watch him as he lifts her chin up knowing that I was the only one who used to do that to her but not anymore.
"I want to leave." I tell them standing and rush outside not caring who is following me.
"Josh wait." I hear her voice and I stop turning to face her wondering what would an innocent girl like her want from someone like me.
"It's not what it seems." She starts explaining and looks down at the ground. She seems worried over me but she didn't have to rush after me or to explain anything to me. I love her and this would never get in her way to happiness.
"You don't have to explain to me anything." I tell her hoping she'd just give it up. "Good then you know he's just a friend." She says shaking. "Oh, it's not a date then?" I sarcastically say immediately regretting it.
I know she loves me and how much she does love me but she needs to give up on me.
"Man don't do this." Zack says knowing that he followed me."Stay out of this." I tell him. "You are jealous." She says looking at me now.
Jealous? More like dying of seeing you happy with him and broken knowing you would never really be mine.
"You know all about it, don't you?" I cruelly say and she blinks knowing that I did hurt reminding her of the days with Sasha.
I leave her standing there alone and Zack follows me to my car. "I don't get you." Zack says angrily looking at me before I start the car. "She's there with him and she is happy without me." I tell him calmly starting the car. "Yet you fucking know that she loves you. You should have just asked her about him." He says still angry and I don't say anything to him.
"You know you will always be hers, you barely love anyone." He tells me in calm tone. "That won't last for long." I tell him driving faster. "You tried and you failed. You will always need her so don't even think about hurting her." He says calmly and I don't say anything.
I stop the car in front of our building and leave the car to our apartment. I see Austin watching a football match and I rush to my room ignoring him.
I leave myself to my thoughts which immediately go to seeing her with someone else. I take out a bottle of liquid trying to erase her from my memory. But the worst part is even when I'm drunk she's still here.
...
I wake up early with a headache the next day still in last night's clothes and I don't even care about changing my outfit.
I drink a glass of water before going to school pretending to be normal.
"You showed up." Zack says surprised once he sees me in the corridor and George and Austin turn to face me. "Yeah, I woke up on time." I tell him standing on the wall next to them for a few seconds before I see Sasha.
I walk to her and whoever the girl was with her leaves once she sees me. "Hey?" She says raising her eyebrows surprised.
"Do you remember how it felt like kissing me?" I ask her and she blinks rapidly surprised by my question and before she could answer me I press my lips against hers.
...
Explanation:
Please read till the end.
Everything in this chapter is from Josh's side explaining why he would kiss someone else.
You must read the previous chapter before this one since I didn't go into details in this one. The three dots are what happened in the previous once since I've felt it would be boring to repeat the same events especially when Zayn called her and she came to him.
I know you might hate me for this but I don't want to make boys look perfect like they are in fairytales cause soon you'll find out boys are nothing like they are in stories and books. And some of you might already know that since a lot of you have related to previous events in the story.
Yes, it happens sometimes talking to a guy till 3:00 am in the morning so that you would wake up the next day to see him with a girl you don't like just like what happened with her.
Yes, sometimes boys leave without telling you why they are leaving and you start overthinking every single thing you did wrong, just to find nothing.
Also yes, you don't choose who to fall in love with but still you will fight for them stupidly even though they push you away one hundred times and let you in only once, you will choose to hold on into that.
And sometimes when everything works out life happens.
