"Mummy" I ask starting above her head where i saw 00:10:23 written above her head. I never knew what it was.
"Yes?" She asks
"Why do you have numbers above your head?" I ask
"I don't. But what are they doing?" She asks smiling
"Counting down" I say with a blank tone.
"Oh my. You have an imagination don't you sweetie" she says smiling and hugging me like it would be the last on ever.
Well I was wrong to think it it wouldn't be.
10 minutes had passed and there were 14 seconds remaining
"I love you mumma" I say hugging her tightly but she never hugged me back
"I love you too" she chokes out before falling to the ground.
I ran over to the phone and called the ambulance. The police showed up and asked me what happened;
"I was telling my mummy I loved her and then she fell to the ground" I summarised it.
"Oh. It's okay, I'm sure she's okay" the officer says smiling down at me.
"Sir, there's nothing." A man says making me whip around.
"She's dead" I whisper
"I'm sorry" the officer says.
"Where is your father?" Another man asks
"I don't know" I reply sitting down.
"Happy birthday to me" I whisper before falling asleep with a tear-stained face.
