Tap, tap, tap, tappity, tap, tap.

Bill groggily sat up in his bed, rubbing his eyes with back of his palm. He turned to his clock, and his once tired eyes sprang open. "Shit." He mumbled and jumped out of bed. he fumbled around the room, changing his underwear and getting dressed, not really noticing he put his underwear on inside out, and his top on backwards. He ran to the bathroom and hastily brushed his teeth and ran a brush through his tangled hair. It wasn't brushed properly, so he through it up into a pony tail. He then grabbed his wand and a bottle of water before sprinting out of the house knocking into Harley.

"Woah there, ginger boy." She snorted pushing him backwards slightly, "I guess you overslept?"

"If it makes you feel better, you're a great alarm clock."

She rolled her eyes, "yeah whatever. However, your eyesight must be very poor, your top is on inside out."

Bill looked down and his ears tinted pink. He shook his head stepping back, and pulling it over his head, switching it into the right way, and putting it back on. "All better."

"A-huh." Harley nodded, not looking at him. Needless to say, she was not expecting him to do that as if it was an everyday occurrence."You mister, need an earlier bed time."

"You act as if it is my fault, I was at your house so late." He scoffed.

"You don't have to come over, you're not obliged to." Harley shrugged, turning a corner. The sun was rising and the air was cool, nothing like a November morning in England, it was warmer and the roads were not as crowded, well dirt tracks. Bill wasn't sure how to reply and that then led to the pair walking in silence, odd stones bouncing off of their feet. "I-uh-I'll talk go you later." She said, and walked over to her station, next to her friend, Asa, but to the right of Bill.

Harley started to look into a few artefacts, making small talk to the boy beside her, not the redhead. "So how've you being, Harley?" Asa asked.

"Alright. Yourself?" She mumbled, before throwing many spells at one piece of stone.

"Same as, you need any help?" He laughed, walking behind her and taking the stone into his hand. He turned it around a few times and muttered a few spells. "This little shit, ain't cracking is he?"

"Nah you don't say," Harley exclaimed clapping her hands. "Wait I have an idea."

She grinned taking the stone back into her hands a walked away from her station into an open area. She transfigured a book into a sledge hammer and slammed it down on the rock that she had placed on the floor. Asa coughed, in surprise and Bill's eyes widened. Harley turned the sledge hammer back to a book, and picked up some broken pieces of stone. Dropping it onto the table. "Worthless stone, and to think I wasted my breath on it." She huffed slumping into a chair.

"Harley, you're needed in the 3-south-east tomb! Now get your lacy li' arse over there!" Roger smiled, passing by.

She stood up, grumbling and stretching turning to Asa and Bill, "Later children." She skipped off towards the tomb, laughing as the two called after her in exclamation, with responses to what she had said.

She entered the tomb and scurried through the tunnels, to the main part. "Wotcha! Now what do you guys need?" She asked the other curse-breakers.

"You need to work on some of the architecture in here, that can't be moved from in here, as we are needed else where." One of them said; she nodded and got to work.

She placed in her headphones and began to play some music, whilst setting off to work. In some tombs, parts cannot be moved, otherwise said-curse may become worse, and could be potentially dangerous for the person dealing with them. "We soaring, flying, there's not a star in heaven that we can't reach if we're trying, yeah we're breaking free..." She sang along to her television and movie songs playlist, 'Breaking Free' from high school musical coming on first.

Hours went by, and she was barely through anything, she needed to use very high-standard and difficult spells, to break some curses, which took up a lot of time. So much time was taken up, that she missed her lunch break and still was working at 9pm at night, having absentmindedly got lost in her work and music.

Bill finished his work, not seeing Harley all day, not even at lunch. He searched a lot of the base to find her but had unfortunate luck. 'She probably went home', he thought, before making his way back to his house. He threw his keys and empty bottle onto the sofa before having a shower. he threw his sopping wet hair into a pony tail before writing up some of his findings. It brought him to 10pm and he assumed, Harley probably went to bed. After all he can't expect her to have him for dinner every night, and she didn't invite him again. Therefore he made his way to the kitchen and shoved some bread into the oven and placed some baked beans on the stove, making himself beans on toast. It got to later in the night when he went to bed.

Harley continued working, not realising the time, having it only feel like an hour had passed since she began. She slumped down a wall in the tomb, and drank some water. Her phone had died, about ten minutes ago, leaving her drinking her water for a break. Her eyelids became heavy as a pounding sensation began in her head. 'Five minutes can't hurt?', she concluded and let her eyes shut, and a blanket of darkness fall over her.

Bill knocked on Harley's door continuously for ten minutes, and still no answer. In the end he apparated himself in to find, the house quiet. He climbed the stairs calling her name, and still no reply. 'Lazy bugger'. He found her bedroom door open, and he could see the bed from the door, fully made. 'She must have left without me'. He apparated to the base, and greeted fellow workers, making his way to his base. Hers was untouched, but her friend Asa was at his.

"Hi, Asa. Have you seen Harley?" He asked.

The boy shook his head, "Can't say I have mate, sorry."

"S'alright." Bill replied, curiously. Where was this woman? He shrugged it off and got on with his days work, until after an hour Roger came over.

"Right lads, where is Lupin? She hasn't turned up and she isn't answering her phone, yes I am talking about a muggle phone." he says.

"No." Asa replied.

"I didn't see her last night, and her house was empty this morning." Bill stated.

"Roger!" A short, blonde haired woman came running over. "Did you shut tomb 3-south-east?"

"No, Clara, I didn't. Harley probably did. She was working there yesterday."

"That's the thing, it wasn't shut when I passed it, and doesn't look like it has been all night."

"Okay, Clara get to work, I will see to it." Roger nodded, and the woman, Clara, scurried off. " Boys with me." He said and marched off into the direction of the tomb.

Bill and Asa dropped what they were doing and threw off their gloves, hurrying after the elder man. The reached the tomb, and just like Clara described the tomb entrance looked untouched and open all night. "Right, come on." Roger said and entered the tomb, "Lumos." His wand lit up the dark tunnels as the three walked in.

They came to the centre and found artefacts that had been de-cursed, and then a sleeping Harley slumped against the wall. "You don't think she stayed here all night do you?" Bill questioned, checking her pulse, just for precautions.

"Considering that is what she was wearing yesterday, I would say she did." Asa replied, brushing the hair from her face.

Roger thought for a moment, "Clearly she worked hard yesterday, the whole tomb is done. I think she would take the day off, Bill would you mind getting her home?"

"Yes sir." He nodded and scooped her up into his arms. "I'll be back as soon as possible."

"Don't, take the day off too. You deserve it." Roger smiled, patting his shoulder. "Asa, can you shut the tomb and resume work, mate?"

"Sure thing Roger."

Bill apparated back to Harley's living room, and attempted to lay her down on her sofa, but she latched onto his shirt in her sleep. "No, please, stay." She murmured.

"Harley." He sighed.

"Please." She replied, her voice laced with sleep.

"Okay." Bill gave in and sat down on the sofa, laying her head on his lap. He summoned a blanket from her room and draped it over her.

"Get some sleep, Harls."
