Harley sat by the mirror in the bathroom of her uncle's house. The men of the house were at the Burrow and the women were originally meant to be with Harley bt she had requested to be alone despite Mrs Weasley's protests. Usually, nobody could ever argue with Mrs Weasley, however, Lyall was not letting anyone disrespect Harley's wishes on her wedding day. Bill worried that she wanted to be alone, however, he knew that there was no way of that he was going to argue with her.

Staring at herself, Harley tilted her head whilst fiddling with her hair. She pulled back some hairs at the front of her face and pinned them back. She slipped on her dress afterwards and struggled to do the back up but thankfully managed it. The dress was marvellous. Darcy had made a fantastic dress which was white with a black feather pattern around the bodice. She sighed and looked down at the ring that glittered on her finger.

Marriage.

Harley struggled to believe that she was marrying someone as great as Bill on this day. In fact, she struggled to believe that she was getting married in general. Were these second thoughts? Of course, she wanted to be with Bill, but, marriage? Holy moly... Harley bent over and clutched her stomach as her breathing became shallow.

"Harley? Are you ready?" She heard Tonks call as she entered the house. The younger woman hurried over to Harley's side and held onto her. "It's okay, it's okay." She said and guided her to sit down.

Harley shook her head as she was handed a bin. Instead, she pointed at her glass of water and Tonks handed her the glass and she chugged it down. She then leaned back and Tonks hugged her tightly. "What's wrong?" She questioned Harley.

Harley shrugged, "I don't really know."

Tonks raised her eyebrows in concern for her niece-in-law, "you still marrying, Bill, aren't you?"

Harley closed her eyes and nodded, "yeah, I think so."

"It's natural to do be scared, I was so scared when marrying Remus."

Harley stood up, lifting the bottom of the dress and hurried out of the house. Tonks legged it after her hoping that she was heading towards the Burrow and not away from the wedding entirely. Thankfully, she didn't, instead Harley rushed into the Burrow and towards Bill.

"Harls, it's bad luck- what?"

"Let's just do this. I don't care about the big arse ceremony thing. Please, let's just say the word I do and be married. I-"

"Whoa, baby, calm down. Please, tell me what's going on?" Harley pulled him by the tie out of the view of everyone who looked flabbergasted by the fact that Harley abruptly charged into the house. "Harls, love, talk to me."

"I just want to marry you, that's all I want. Bill, I can't wait anymore, if I do then I feel like I will throw up. Please-"

"Bill, Harley, this is such bad luck! You need to be away from each other. C'mon Harley, dear, out you come."

Harley glanced at the door which Mrs Weasley was behind, knocking on. She turned back to Bill and shook her head. "Mum, can you give us some time, please?"

"Bill-"

"Mum, please!"

Mrs Weasley sighed and her footsteps faded away. Bill moved to sit down on the bed in the room and he pulled Harley down to sit on his lap. "You look spellbindingly beautiful, darling, even with that worried look on your face." He told her, rubbing her waist gently, "everything will be fine, we will be married in less than an hour and all your worries will disappear. I promise you it will all go swiftly."

Harley rested her head on Bill's shoulder, she hadn't put her veil on but Tonks realised when she chased after Harley and took it with her. The pair did worry about the bad luck of seeing each other as they sat in each others arms however they didn't seem to care because it was calmly Harley. Harley was overly nervous and hated how much she was panicking so to get it done and dusted would be a huge relief. She loves Bill but the marriage binding them together scared her.

"Are... are you having second thoughts?" Bill questioned, his voice wavering with anxiety at the thought of Harley not wanting him again.

Harley's lip quivered as she begged herself not to cry. "Will, I love you, but marriage-"

"Darling, realistically it's just a signed piece of paper, the rest is just a show we put on to appease other people and even ourselves. I understand if you want to call it off because as long as I have you I don't mind whether we have officially bonded together-"

Harley cut him off this time, "I've seen marriage leading to disaster..."

"Your parents? Oh, Harley, why didn't you just say that? Darling, we are not your parents, they unfortunately went down a bad path to which they wrecked their own lives and tried to damage yours. I swear to you we are not and will never be or end up like them. Please don't let that version of marriage inhibit you from trying it. I love you too much to let you suffer and I love you too much to ever let that one example ruin everything."

Harley nodded and kissed him softly, "you're so understanding. How you ever put up with my dramatics, I don't know."

"You have every right to act the way you have done. With your past experiences it's a wonder how you have ended up the way you have. Harley, you are stronger than most people."

She smiled and took Bill's face in her hands. Her thumbs rubbed along the scar that run down his face and she looked him over, "damn, you look amazing."

"I could say the same to you."

"Let's just get married. I can't wait any longer."

"Let's go then, Harls, before my mum explodes."

"God, what must she think of me now?" Harley face palmed as the pair stood up. Bill straightened both himself and Harley's clothes and pecked her cheek.

"She's probably counting down the seconds to call you her daughter-in-law. She adores and loves you, Harley, there is no doubt about that. Now get your sexy arse down there and I'll see you at the alter."

"See you at the alter, Will."
