Hidden Secrets {Bill Weasley}

"Why is there a ruler on your front path?" Asa asked Bill and Harley after he walked straight into their house the next morning.

Bill was sat at the kitchen table finishing his cup of coffee and his letter to his parents whilst Harley cooked some eggy bread after yesterdays failed attempt by Bill. Asa sat down opposite the redheaded man and took his coffee from his hands which, in all honesty, Bill couldn't careless he was already wide awake and wanted to get his letter finished as soon as possible. He and Harley were travelling to the Weasley's that evening so that they could go to the Quidditch World Cup the next morning. 

"I threw it out of the window yesterday because Bill wouldn't shut up about how fantastic it is because it is a bendy one," Harley told her friend, "I couldn't care less if it was made of chocolate - actually if it was made of chocolate I would probably care because I would eat it but you know what I mean, it's just a ruler."

"A bendy one." Bill pointed out not looking up from his letter. 

She sighed, "Yes we get it." 

There was a short silence which was broken by Bill's stomach rumbling loudly. He glanced up sheepishly his ears flushing pink as he placed his letter in an envelope and stood up to hand it to Ginger. The owl flew off into the morning sun with his letter and Bill turned to face Asa with a bemused look on his face. 

"Didn't eat dinner last night?" Asked Asa, chuckling. 

"No, it's why we're having some eggy bread now, we didn't get to eat any for dinner last night. Or anything for dinner in fact." Replied Bill rubbing his stomach and staring longing at the bread cooking. 

Asa glanced at Harley wh nodded in agreement, setting eggy bread on some plates, dishing some up for Asa too who could eat like a Weasley any day. "And why did you guys not eat dinner?" The brunette asked as he picked up some bread. 

"We went to bed early." Said Harley much like a child who doesn't want to tell the entire truth afraid of being told off as she turned away biting into her breakfast.  

Asa's eyes widened as he saw the blush creeping onto their faces from the awkward silence and he nearly choked on his food. "YOU DIDN'T!" He received no reply. "MY BABIES!" Asa squealed clapping his hands together. 

Two squeaks of chairs and crash from the door slamming and Asa was left alone in the house with three plates of eggy bread. "Or would that make it their babies?" He asked himself shrugging his shoulders.

It's so wonderful to see you, Harley, dear!" Molly exclaimed coming over to the couple and cupping Harley's cheek in a motherly way before giving the woman a tight squeeze. "Arthur and I have missed you terribly!"

Harley chuckled, "I have missed you both too, you're looking well!" 

"Yes, well, I should hope I do after having them all back from Hogwarts for weeks. No, no, in all seriousness thank you dear. Charlie and the twins are in the living room with Harry Ron and Ginny, Percy is in his room and Arthur is just finishing up at work." Molly shuffled the blonde woman into the living room and turned to her eldest son. "Off you go to then."

"Gee, thanks mum for that hearty welcome. You'd think I was chopped liver." Bill rolled his eyes and went to move past his mother but she stood in his way. 

"Merlin William, you'd think after living this long you'd know that I wouldn't be like that. Now give me a hug." She outstretched her arms and pulled her eldest child into her arms. "I love you dear and it's so good that you are home." She patted his back and swiped a pinch at his bum. 

"Mum! You said you'd stop that when I was a toddler!" Bill cried. 

Molly grinned, "Nope, motherly love dear now I dug out some more photos to show Harley..."

Bill walked away from his mother and joined Harley on the sofa squashing between her and Charlie and wrapped his arms around the latter. "It's good to see you, man!" He greeted his brother. 

"And you, Bill, mate." Charlie smirked, "You two better get your arses over to Romania at some point." 

Harley nodded, "What did I tell you earlier, I had some sort of intuition that you'd say that." 

Fred looked up from his and George's meddling, "bill you're dating baby Trelawny!" He cried with his nose turned up. "Get out."

"Says the boy who couldn't stop ogling at her arse when you stayed in Egypt. Do you want me to tell Belle you were checking her cousin out?"

Fred shut up and elbowed George who snickered at his twin. 

"I forgot Belle was coming, I have to go get her tomorrow morning. How'd I forget?" Harley exclaimed facepalming and snuggling into Bill who had let go of Charlie and shuffled closer to his girlfriend. 

"You were pre-occupied." Said Bill rubbing her side. 

Harley hummed in response and watched as Ron lost against Harry in exploding snap. "Oh I don't think we've introduced you, " Said Ginny looking at her brother's girlfriend and Harry. "Harry, this is Harley, Bill's girlfriend, Belle's cousin and Professor Lupin's cousin, Harley this is Harry, Harry Potter."

Harry looked up, pushing his glasses up his nose and stuck his hand out, "Pleasure to meet you," He said, smiling, "you do look very alike to Lupin."

"Thank you," Replied Harley, "It's lovely to meet you, I've heard many stories from this lot about you, the youngest seeker in the world! Personally, I prefer beaters but seekers are all right."

The twins smirked and turned to Harry, "That's why she's been fully accepted into the family. She has good quidditch taste." They both said in a creepy, simultaneous way. 

"Is that the only reason?" Asked Bill with his eyebrows raised. 

"No." Stated George, "She's the pretty one out of the pair of you..."

"Gives your future children hope." Finished Fred. 

"Arsehole." Commented Bill as his sibling and Harley laughed. 

"Yes, we all have one. If you don't how the hell do you do your business?!" Fred cheekily retorted. 

"I hate you."

"I have heard worse, William."
