TW:

Returning home to Egypt was a bitter sweet moment for the couple. They would have loved to stay longer with the rest of the Weasley's but the youngest siblings had to go back to school, Charlie had to go back to Romania and Bill and Harley also had work they needed to do.

It was the new year and that meant the Goblin's wanted more work to be done and more of their treasure to be recovered. The first day back at work Harley and Bill were sent to a house, which was still inhibited, to ask the owner of the house for a certain portrait that was owned by Gringotts.

The owner was a slender man with mousey brown hair and piercing blue eyes. From his accent the pair assumed he was from South Africa and were later proved right as over the sofa was a South African flag created blanket. The man offered the pair some tea which the politely declined and sat down with him. "So what can I do for you both?" The man asked, his eyes not leaving Harley.

Bill coughed, "we are here in behalf of the goblins at Gringotts bank. They have reason to believe that you are in possession of a precious portrait that belongs to them. One of painter, Clarence Giovanni." Said Bill, noticing the way he looked at his girlfriend.

The man sat back, smirking, "I don't think I do."

Bill turned his nose up, "I think you do, Harley love, go take a look around." The man went to opposer but noticed Bill's glare.

"Let me show you around, darling, I can help you look." He stood up but Bill stopped him.

"She is more than capable to look around herself thank you." Harley stayed quiet and exited the room climbing the stairs and entering the nearest room. "Now, mister...?"

"Hughes...Xavier Hughes."

"Mister Hughes, why do you think you haven't got it? But when I asked my colleague to look around you offered to show her around."

Xavier sighed, "A gentlemen never lets a woman walk alone."

Bill furrowed his brows about to reply when Harley called him. "Stay here, please." He said to Xavier and ran off to find Harley. "What's up?"

"The doors are locked. What am I supposed to do?"

"Break then open or use a spell." Bill replied. "There's something fishy going on. And Xavier Hughes down there, if that's even his name, doesn't want us snooping. Right, I'll look. You go and keep him there. I don't care what you do. Flirt with him, anything, just keep him downstairs for as long as you can so I can look. If I find the portrait I shrink it, hide it in my pocket, come back and pretend I haven't found it. Then we'll make a run for it. Is that okay?"

"You want me to flirt with him...?"

"If you have too, just distract him." Bill pressed a kiss to her forehead before motioning her to go.

Harley began to cough whilst walking down the stairs. "Are you okay, darling?" Xavier asked her.

"Do you mind if I have a glass of water please." She coughed, again. Xavier nodded fetching her one whilst she sat down on the sofa again. He returned, handing her the glass and sitting very close beside her. "Thank you."she coughed again before downing the water and placing the empty glass on the coffee table.

"Is that better?" Xavier asked, placing a hand on her knee. She nodded. "Good. You are gorgeous, you know that?" He whispered.

Harley shook her head, "thank you."

"Don't thank me, it's true." His thumb traced circles on her knee. "Your so gorgeous...you eyes are so beautiful, so blue! His other thumb traced her jaw line."

"Thank you." She blushed involuntarily, "I like your eyes too, they too are very blue."

"Oh hush, I am nothing special. You in the other hand..."

Bill knew it was wrong to get Harley, his girlfriend, to flirt with a complete stranger just so they could do their job. He had managed to get in the rooms, only to find nothing special the room were only locked and empty. Until he reached the last one.

Inside, he assumed was Xavier's bedroom, was the portrait he needed. He shrunk it down and put it into his pocket but still looked around the room. There were scissors on top of his drawers which made Bill curious. Opening the top one he found a scrap book. Inside the scrap book was a picture of a girl and a lock of hair, on the next page a different girl, a different lock of hair. There was about twelve different girls and locks of hair in the scrapbook and instantly Bill felt weird about it.

He shrunk the book down as well and his that in his pocket before exiting the room. He locked the door once more, double checking all of the other doors as well.

Meanwhile downstairs, Harley was still flirting with Xavier, peering quickly at the stairs hoping Bill would hurry up so she didn't have to keep going. Xavier had edged closer and was full on caressing her cheek and knee now, whispering how beautiful she was and how he would kill for a girlfriend like her.

Harley had to grin and bare it. She nodded, thanking him once more telling him that she was sure he would be able to get a far better girlfriend than she. He disagreed. "I don't think anyone could beat you, darling. You are so kind, so beautiful, and your voice is so relaxing. I hope you don't fall for guys like that guy upstairs."

"He's not a git." Harley told him, "he just had a work mode where he likes things to be done as quick as possible." She lied, she knew the reason behind Bill's bitterness.

"Still, you shouldn't go for a guy like him." Xavier pressed on.

"Why not?"

Xavier smirked, "because I can give you so much more...."
