Harley sighed deeply, her body curled up next to Bill in bed, her hand resting on his chest and her engagement ring glittering in the low bedside lamp light. Bill kissed her forehead softly rubbing her back at the same time, their day finally coming to an end, safely in their flat, yet the weight of the official (ministry recognised) return of Lord Voldemort on their shoulders plus many other problems.

"Everything will work out just fine in the end," said Bill.

"Will it though? Everyone keeps saying it will but it seems as though it's never ending," replied Harley with a brittle voice, her eyes squeezing shut as tears threatened to fall. She didn't want the to fall, she didn't want to show that she was petrified, she didn't need Bill worrying more than he already was over the safety of his family. What she didn't know was that Bill was quite aware of the extent of her emotions running high but chose not to draw attention to it and make her feel worse.

"It will, love, I promise." He reached out and flicked the switch of the lamp and they were snapped into darkness.

Harley edged up higher in the bed so that she was cuddled closer to Bill. Whilst Bill was practically ready to fall asleep Harley remained wide awake begging for herself to be occupied and busy rather than doing nothing and her thoughts running wild.

She decided to sit up which made Bill open his eyes in confusion, raising his eyebrows as he witnessed his fiancée rummage around the room. It wasn't exactly early in the evening either, rather it was early in the morning and Bill had work the next day.

"Harls—"

"It's late go to sleep, Will," she replied shortly, practically diving head first into the chest of drawers.

Bill flopped down, "exactly, darling. Whatever it is you're looking for, do it in the morning, or should I say, later."

"I can't."

Bill slugged our of her bed and trudged over to Harley, taking hold of her by her waist and dragging her out of the drawers. "C'mon, sleep."

"Normally I'd say yes but I need to find— did you seriously thinking playing with my boobs would make me come back to bed?"

Bill sniggered, nipping gently at her earlobe, "and did it?"

"No."

"Damn it."

Harley didn't stop. She was deep in thought as she scrambled around for the item or items she was hunting for leaving Bill idly waiting got her to finish. It seemed to drag on for hours and eventually Bill sat on the floor in exhaustion from standing up for so long. Harley just seemed to posses an unlimited amount of energy as she never seem to break from her search.

"Harls, what is it you're looking for? That way I can help you because it's getting boring waiting," Bill said.

"I'm looking for the book Uncle Lyell gave me, I swear I saw it the the day."

"What book?"

Harley paused. She gripping the edge of the shelf and sighed, "the history of Britain. Non-Muggle addition." She stated, returning her search, "it's by Gwenog Hillyfield if I remember correctly, famous witch historian."

Bill groped for his wand on the bedside table? Feeling the cold wood between his finger tips but wasn't able to grip it properly. He did manage to drag it off of the table and it bounced on the floor, sparks shooting from its tip as if it was angry at being dropped. "Accio 'a history of Britain, non-muggle addition'." He mumbled tiredly, trying ever so carefully not to take mid-sentence as he did.

Both he and Harley waited for the book to appear but it didn't. Not a peep was heard except for a few cars on the streets outside in London. "Darling, maybe you don't have it anymore otherwise we would be able to get it."

Harley hit her head, "I saw it! Just yesterday. Merlin's beard!"

She sunk down onto the floor in annoyance. She clutched at the rug, pinching it tightly as she growled out of spite. "I'm not going crazy. I really saw it, Will."

Bill shuffled closer to Harley and put his arm around her. Harley stayed stiff rather than melting into his embrace like she usually did. "You're tired and have been for ages now especially since the how death eater attack and Regulus Black now being alive. You need to rest, you need to just relax and forget about everything—"

"That's the problem," said Harley, "I'm not doing anything. This is the first time in years where I actually don't have to get up and do something each day, even on days off I had stuff to do like paperwork or just cleaning the house or something. Now I haven't got anything except cleaning, which if I don't think I can do anymore of because I do it everyday. I cook, but most of the time we're at headquarters and your mum is cooking. Bill, I need something to do. It's driving me insane."

"Plan our wedding?"

Harley's eyes widened in shock, "What?" She spluttered.

Bill smiled, "well, we haven't put much thought into it and with you out of work, why not? It will give you something to do. Plus, I'm getting so impatient I just a want to know the exact date that you'll officially be mine."

"I'm already yours, idiot."

"Yeah but like officially. Legally. Will you take my surname? Or will I take yours? Will you double barrel it? You can choose your dress. The venue. The date. The food. The cake. Even my suit. Harls, anything. It's all your choice."

"You need a say, Will, I can't dictate everything, That's not right." Said Harley, placing her hand in his chest as she rested her head on his shoulder.

Bill nodded, "then you get ideas and I'll just agree to them. Therefore I have a say but it's still your choice. But if I really don't like something then I will definitely mention my dislike. But, love, I want what you want."

Harley grinned and cuddled further into Bill, "Merlin I love you so much. I can't believe I'm going to plan this. I never thought it would happen at all. Not to me. And certainly not with you. It sounds cliché but you were the smart, but popular as hell boy in school who was on the sports team. Yeah, we were team mates but it was never anything more. And to be able to be so in love with you and be getting married to you is bloody crazy."

"Harley, just because of your past doesn't mean you shouldn't have happiness. It's mad to think I'm so in love with you when you were right there for seven years of my life and I never took a blind bit of notice of you in that way. You were literally my team mate and that was it and I'm not going to lie. I wish I had taken more notice. But at the same time I'm glad I didn't because I fear that we wouldn't be where we are now. With everything we have experienced together I can't even fathom what would have been different had we have been in a relationship earlier. But that doesn't matter, darling, but I'm utterly and madly in love with you and I can't wait for you to be my wife so please hurry up and plan it because I don't think I can wait for too much longer."

"I'm so lucky to have you," Harley mumbled in awe of the man in her arms.

"And I'm just as lucky to have you, Harley."
