The following day .... Thursday
Dominique,
Here it is, Friday afternoon and roc is once again out and about. I don't complain because he's around more then I could ever want.
Tonight I was supposed to be cooking so I took out some chicken and French pasta .
I mean if you want to be cuffed you gotta know how to cook for ya man and look at me now bitches. Married with a ring on my fucking finger!
As I began to run the chicken under hot water, I heard my door . Lay'ah doesn't get out of school for another 20 minutes and I alrighty cursed out the bay bay kids for ding song ditching us. Other then that, I didn't have any other idea of anyone else it could've been so I checked the peep hole .
" who is it?" I asked
" hazel and nana " hazel yelled.
I opened the door and looked at the tiny little girls that stood on my door step.
"What y'all niggas doing here? I gotta get Lay'ah from school in about 15 minutes"
Before I could finish my rant they both walked in.
" uhm hello? " I asked in full sarcasm.
I swear my words went in one ear and out of the other with these girls.
" aye I wanna see princess" nana smiled.
Hazel looked around the living room . Just looking for shit.
" got any pregnacy test? " hazel asked
"Okay nana, & what hazel? For why ?"
Hazel stopped moving and looked at me up and down. " I swear every time you speak, you remind me of how important an education really is. "
She scoffed.
"Whatever, why do you need a pregnancy test? " I asked
Nana rolled her eyes. " because she wants to fuck herself with it. Nigga what you think? " she asked with sarcasm.
" keep talking and I won't take you to pick up Lay'ah with me. " I pointed.
Nana have me a kissy face . " sorry"
I then turned to hazel and nodded my head . " you gone tell me or nah?" I asked
" do you have one? Please Dominique ! " she asked out of breath.
I sighed and rolled my eyes. " second drore in the bathroom."
Hazel ran and took care of what she needed to while it was just me and nana.
" it's been a long time. " nana nodded .
" a little too long" I nodded .
Nana had her moments but we all do... Is it worth not forgiving?
" I'm sorry Dominique, I was just jealous , an foolish, I felt betrayed but I wasn't and I feel soo---- "
" nana , it's fine. Your still my lil bitch" I smiled.
Just then nana just hugged me tight. " I can't believe I missed a damn high school bully ass nigga" she chuckled on my shoulder.
" I can't believe I missed my damn victim! Now were close friends! " I laughed. Nana let go of me and shook her head.
"We all have a weird friendship huh" she asked
"Duhh. But we all like it huh". I smirked
Just then hazel walked out of the bathroom and held the pregnancy test in her hand.
