Through the eyes of Roc
So me and Niq were just laying on the couch watching. Scream 3 with jada pinkett in it. Psh. " babe don't you have a play date with Karen and alex?" Dominique asked. Oh shit .. I forgot all about it. Layah and alex wanted to go to chuckie cheese's . Its been a week since we started getting our kids together and I'm the main one going to all this kiddie shit so Karen and I have been becoming close. She's cool but I really don't care to see her every other day. "Uhm hello?" Niq snapped her fingers in my face " come on Bae... can you just take lay'ah today? I mean that Karen girlnu will talk for hours none stop" I pleaded.
Dominique got up and shrugged. " not my problem " she smirked and walked in the back bedroom. "Bye Lay'ah and Roc" she giggled and with that, I grabbed Lay'ah and we started walking to the car.
"You going to have fun with alex?" I asked looking at her threw my adjustable mirror. "Yes" she smiled. "Can daddy hear your joy hands?" I asked laughing and she began to clap. "Yayyy!" She grinned as she clapped her hands harder. "Good girl" I smiled. About 10 minutes later we pulled up to chuckie cheeses. Got out the car and unstrapped Lay'ah from her car seat and we headed in. I looked around for Karen and didn't see her so I picked up Lay'ah as we checked in and she got her stamp to go in. "How long are you staying? " the guy asked. "Maybe an hour and a half." I nodded putting a 20 on the counter for pizza and tokens. "Lay lay!" I heard Alex's voice yell and he ran to her followed by Karen chasing after him. "Alex!" She yelled and grabbed him." I'm so sorry roc" she giggled and kissed Alex. I nodded as we all walked into the arcade section. "Daddy" lay'ah mumbled and pulled at the bottom of my pants leg. "I looked down andvshe pointed to the clock ride. "I'm sorry" I looked at Karen and she nodded. She smiled and mouthed it was okay. She bent over to look in her sons diaper bag when I noticed a bruise on her shoulder. It looked like a cigarette burn and it was balls deep. Shit that made my shoulder burn! But I didn't pay any attention to it at first. I just took Lay'ah to get on the ride. I buckled her in and put in the two tokens it required. As soon as it started moving Lay'ah looked at me as if she changed her mind. I chuckled at her. One year olds these days. I shook my head and pulled out my phone to snap a picture of her face and sent it to Dominique. " your daughters being scary! She got that Dominique face" I teased and sent the picture.
After the ride was over I picked Lay'ah up and took her to the ball pool. Alex and Karen followed. alex got in with Lay'ah while me and Karen sat down and watched them play. "So... what happened to you shoulder? " I asked
Karen looked at me and stared without even answering the question. After about 15 seconds it just became Awkward and I cleared my throat.... "Karen?" I asked and she snapped out of . "im sorry repeat that?" She asked. "I said what happened to your shoulder. "
She looked at it and smirked. "Oh nothing. Psh "
"Looks like cigarette burn. How'd you get it?" I asked and she chuckled.
" long story "
Just then my phone rang and it was Princeton. This nigga probably still thinking about hazelnut. Haha that's what I call her now.
"I'm sorry, I have to take this" I told Karen. "Oh its fine "
I got up and started to walk around. "Hello?" I answered. "Roc man..." he began.
"What?"
Prince took a deep breath" I just left home. Im going to Hazel's house." He told me.
"What? What in the world are you going to do at hazel's house?"
"I'm going to see wassup. hopefully Cervante isn't there because I Need her to talk to me. I did shit wrong and its been buggin' me. " prince explained. "Well do what you have to do, I'm on a playdate with alex and karen so call me in about a hour "
"Alright bye" prince ended the call and I went back to the ball room when Alex got out of the pin crying. "What happened I asked Karen. "Lay'ah. she hit him upside the head with a ball and kept Falling down. Just the thought of that made me chuckle. "Lay'ah! " I looked at her and she started crying. I gave her that look that said daddy's mad at you. And she ran into my arms. "Ahhh" she cried and I looked at Karen like "we'll just leave" so we did. Lay'ah cried and cried because she thought I was mad but I kissed her on the cheek."daddy's not mad." I told her and she still continued to cry and look at me with those glossy big brown eyes. "Wahhhhhh!!" She screamed and I kept kissing hee cheek and she started to quiet down. As we were on our way home she fell asleep. I wasnt mad at her. I was trying to hide the fact I wanted to laugh. Haha I create some bad ass kids
