Chapter 2- Interview

A/N: ^ just to give you an idea about what Aspen wears to the interview.

Aspen's POV:

I wake up at 7:00am, my job interview is at 8:30am.
Anna insisted on doing my hair and makeup, and choosing out my outfit.
"Don't poke my eye out, Anna!"
"Hold on, I'm almost done."
After that, we put my hair in loose curls.
"You should really start wearing your hair like this, it makes your brown hair look gorgeous." Anna says.
"Yeah, I like it."

I sit on my bed and wait for Anna to pick out my clothes.
"I don't think I have anything for 'business casual'."
I say to her.
Anna ignores me and continues to go through my closet.
"Found something!" She says while throwing me an outfit.
"Wow, I forgot I even owned this."

I quickly change into it, and put on my nude heels.
"You look so pretty!" Anna yells.
"Thanks to you." I say.
I check the clock, and it's 8:20am.
"I better get going. I don't want them to think I show up late."
We both walk out of my apartment, and she walks towards hers.
"Good luck Aspen!" She yells after me.

I get a taxi, and we drive to the hotel.
Since the hotel is right down the road from me, I arrive there at 8:25am.
I enter the main hall, and go to the front desk.
"Hi, I'm here about the job interview." I say to a lady that works at the front desk.
"Yes, you'll go to the elevator and go to floor 14. Turn right and the first door you see, is where the interview will be held." She says to me.
I thank her, and make my way to the elevator.
I enter the elevator, and push the button 14.

I get off the elevator, and turn right just like the lady said. I find the door, and knock.

I hear a mans voice, and soon the door opens.
"You must be Miss. Montgomery. I'm Mr. Smith." He says as he gestures me in.
"Oh, I thought my interview would be held with Mr. Johnson himself." I say.
"Mr. Johnson isn't working today, so I'll be interviewing you."
"Great."

After he asks me many questions, the interview is over.
"I'll call you if you got the job."
We shake hands, and I walk out.
I get a taxi, and head home.

Once I get home, I change into something more comfy, and invite Anna over.

"Do you think you got the job?" She asks me.
"I don't know, maybe."
I'm about to say something else, but my phone starts ringing.
I pick up my phone and answer it.

"Hello?" I say.
"Is this Aspen Montgomery?" A lady asks.
"This is."
"Mr. Smith wanted me to call you, and tell you that you got the job. You will be stating Monday at 8:00am."
"Okay. Thank you."
I hang up the phone, and look at Anna.

"I got the job!" I yell.
"I knew it!" She yells.
"I'm so excited!" I say to Anna.
"Have you met your boss yet?" Anna asks.
"No, he wasn't working today."
It's silent for a while, before Anna says something,

"How about we go to the club tonight, and celebrate that you got a new job?"

"What a brilliant idea."
