Chapter 18- Dress Shopping

Ever since me and Jace started 'fake dating', we don't even bother going to work anymore, we just hang out together.
The paparazzi has been crazy these last couple of days, but I honestly don't mind.
"There's another dance tomorrow night." Jace says as we sit in a cafe.
"Cool, I had fun at the last one."
"Yeah, and my mom wants to see you again." He says.
"Really?"
"Yeah, I guess she liked you a lot."
"I can't blame her." I say while flipping my hair.
He starts smiling and laughing, and his laugh is so cute...

"The theme is red and black." Jace says.
I nod and take a sip of my coffee.
"Is Ashley going to be there?" I ask.
He nods, "Yeah, why?"
I shake my head, "Nothing."
"No, tell me."
I bite my lip and look at him, "I'm pretty sure she doesn't like me."
"What makes you say that?"
"Are you serious?" I say.
"What?"
"Have you not seen the way she's been treating me? She acts like she hates me." I say.
He sighs, "She acts like that sometimes. She doesn't like me having 'new friends'."
I sigh and nod.
"Oh, and you can also bring your friends to the dance if you want." Jace says.
"Really?" I say while smiling.
"Yeah, I like them, they're cool."
I text my friends and tell them, and get a text back from Ryan,
"Does he have any gay friends for me?" -Ryan.

I look up from my phone, and look at Jace.
"Do you happen to have any gay friends?"

"That one makes you look fat." Ryan says to me.
"Ryan, we've tried on like four dresses." I say as I plop down on the seat next to him.
"Let me go find you a dress." He says while walking towards all of the dresses.
"How about this one?" Anna asks me while walking out of her changing room.
"I love it! But you better get Ryan's opinion first." I say.
She laughs, "Yeah."

Ryan comes back and hands me a dress and gestures me into the dressing room.
"Ooh Anna! I love it!" I hear Ryan yell about Anna's dress.
I look at the dress Ryan gave me, and admire it.
It's a gorgeous shade of red, and has lace detailing at the ends.
I put it on, and walk out.
"What do you think?" I ask Ryan.
"SO PRETTY!" Ryan yells.
