It was my first day in my new apartment and so far it's been ok. My new neighbor, a boy named Tyler, is pretty nice and I think that we're going to become great friends. So far decorating my bedroom has been pretty nice and so far I've made it pretty aesthetic. I think I'm ok now.

I lie on my bed awake at 3 am wondering what to do. I can't talk to Haylee because she's probably asleep. And Josh is probably asleep too. I figured I could try and sleep just for a few hours. Before I placed my phone on my nightstand, I texted the phone number who I assumed to be Josh.

Tori: hey, is this Josh?
Josh: yea, who's this
Tori: Tori, you dropped your phone number on your way out yesterday
Josh: oh. Why are you awake?
Tori: I could say the same for you
Josh: I'm practicing the drums. Hbu
Tori: thinking. something I do too often
Josh: oh well then you should sleep because you're gonna have a big day ahead of you
Tori: ??
Josh: I'll explain later
Tori: ok gn :)
Josh: gn❤️
Josh: crap I didn't mean to send that

I put my phone down and looked up to the ceiling. Why did I want to move alone? Oh yea because my father is an abusive drunkie and I have no other family here.

I hate being alone. Thoughts come. And I can't stop them.

I sighed and tried to follow Josh's advice. What did he mean big day ahead? Was he planning something? No, I'm just overreacting. I mean, we just met and no one would waste any time on a mess like me.

I turned in my bed and decided to sleep. I would think about it later at work.
