22- cheating

I texted Haylee to meet me at her car and I walked fast enough out of the store to hear someone call my name. I was about to turn around when I realized that that voice was deeper than Haylees.

I just went to her car, walking a little faster than before, trying to to let the tears fall. I gripped the sides of my hoodie and that's when I realized it wasn't mine. I was wearing Josh's hoodie.

He called my name again and I thought he was going to ask for the hoodie back. I would be fine with it because I he left another at my apartment.

The one he gave me on our first date.

I heard the car beep and unlock as I reached for the handle.

A hand quickly reached my shoulder and I spun around.

His mocha eyes stared at mine as I tried to say something. I was speechless. Only Josh can leave me like this.

I tried to protest but in that moment, his hands cupped my cheek and he kissed me.

It wasn't an i love you kiss it was more of an I've missed you so much.

I kissed him back but immediately pulled away when I remembered he had a girlfriend.

"Josh. You have a girlfriend."

He shook his head and whispered, "and she's right in front of me."

With that I got upset.

Why did he want me back all of a sudden? And why did he just call me his girlfriend if we weren't dating? I watched Haylee get it and looked up to see that I was still in front of the car.

I got in fast and asked Haylee to drive.

Why did I leave him?

Because he was cheating.

And he hates cheating.

I just hope Debby didn't see.
