37- wife

*Tori's pov*
"Josh?" I weakly whispered.

"Shhh shh. It's ok I'm here now." His voice reassured.

I sat up and engulfed him into a hug, him returning the favor.

"I'm so sorry." I whispered to him once we broke.

"It's not your fault. It was some stupid driver that was drunk."

I looked around and actually realized where we were and what Josh was sitting in.

"Oh my god. Did I do this? Josh I'm sorry, I know I'm a terrible person."

He cut me off with a small laugh. "It wasn't you, calm down. All I had was a small piece of glass in my neck and I was passed out. But you..." he motioned around me. "You have a sore neck and broken left arm."

I sighed, relived that he was ok.

"Sir, I need to ask you to return to your room. Your wife needs some rest." Nurse Lynn called from the doorway.

I gave Josh a confused look but he just signaled to go with it and I nodded, understanding.

Josh smiled and kissed my forehead before wheeling out of my room.

Just as he left another doctor walked in, this time with a clipboard and began asking questions.

"Pregnant?"

"No"

"Nursing?"

"No"

"Sexually active?"

I sighed. "No"

"Ok final question for now. Self harmed in the past?"

I looked at the doctor, staring at their stethoscope, avoiding his eyes.

"Miss Tori?"

I looked at him before giving him a weak nod.

He looked at me with sad eyes and a look I knew too well, pity.

I rolled my eyes as he proceeded to tell me that all I had to do was sign some release papers and I would be released tomorrow along with Josh.

"In the meantime, I recommend that you get some sleep." The doctor finished.

I nodded as he walked out, closing the door behind him. I was tired.

Sorry I've been gone! I've been traveling and my other phone broke (don't ask) and my plot for all my books got deleted and AHHH SO MUCH AND SCHOOLS STARTING AND im sorry.
Anyways, I planned out how this is gonna end and I'm in the process of writing a new series!! So dramatic and stuff I recommend it when I publish it. Hello may be put on hold for a while.
