It's been two days since Tyler made us confess and he's pretty proud of himself. Me and Josh have become sort of distant for some reason and I don't know why.

Did he not like me? Was he lying? Did I do something wrong?

The curiosity was eating at me so I decided to text him.

T🌹: hey.
Alien boy👽: hey

I'm glad he was responding to my texts though. That gave me some hope. I continued the conversation.

T🌹: are you mad at me?
Alien boy👽: no! Why would I be?
T🌹: idk.. you've been ignoring me lately
Alien boy👽: oh. Sorry. just don't know how to react
T🌹: react to what?
Alien boy👽: meet me at the park

I shut off my phone and sighed. Why do guys have to be so confusing?

I pulled up to the park and saw Josh sitting on the swings. I waved and sat next to him and began to rock the swing. "So..." I started. "Tori I really like you and do you want to go on a date with me?" Josh said at super sonic speed without breathing. I smiled at him. "Yes. Yes I would like to go on a date with you." was my answer. Josh got excited and picked me up off the swing and twirled me around. I giggled and he put me down. He looked down at his feet and rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Sorry I was just-" I cut him off with a kiss on the cheek. "Sorry," I said to a confused Josh. "It was the quickest way to shut you up." He rolled his eyes.

"Meet me here tomorrow night? Dress casual." He said. "Ok. Bye Josh." I began to get in my car and he did the same. And with that we drove back to our homes and I flopped on the bed, happy for the first time in a long time.
