We arrived at the party later that night, and I stayed close to Josh, because I know how crazy Brendon's parties can get. The rain still hasn't started but it looked like the sky was about to start its downpour.

As we stepped inside, I suddenly felt someone grab my arm. I quickly looked, to see it was a drunk man.

A strangely familiar drunk man.

I shook his arm off and followed Josh. I don't drink, so when I was offered some weird alcohol, I kindly turned down the offer. Josh, on the other hand gladly accepted it, chugging it down in 5 seconds.

After a few minutes, I realized Josh wasn't next to me anymore, I had a panic attack. I don't like to be alone in places I'm not familiar with, around people I don't know.

After calling him twice and looking for him for half an hour, my panic attack returned and I hurried upstairs to find the bathroom.

I rushed inside it and locked the door and looked at myself in the mirror. I was breathing too fast. I slowly calmed myself down, and reminded myself, Josh didn't leave, I have the car keys. Josh isn't leaving me. I'm fine.

Just as I was about to leave the bathroom, I heard a giggle and the door open. I quickly hid in the bathroom once more and realized that I was in the master bathroom. Which means whoever just entered was in the bedroom.

I hushed myself and slowly opened the door to peek outside at the newcomers. The girl, I recognized her voice, was Debby, Josh's ex.

"Crap." I muttered.

Whoever was making out with her, didn't say anything until he was pushed into the bed.
"Debby... I have a girlfriend." The voice said.

I gasped. "Josh?" I whispered to myself, struggling to contain tears.

"Yea, but that girl isn't here silly. It's just me and you." Debby said as she began to unbuckle Josh's pants.

I can't be here.

I quickly opened the door and rushed out of the room, down the stairs and outside.

I know Debby saw me. But Josh?

He doesn't know I saw him.

I quickly ran to my car, but hesitated. I decided not to take it and to get some fresh air to clear my mind.

I ran to the park that me and Josh were at earlier and quickly got on a swing.

I sat down and reviewed what just happened.

Josh, a drunk Josh, is cheating on me with his ex-girlfriend, who is clearly sober.

I put my head in my hands and cried. I let the hot tears spill all over my face, not caring if my mascara ran and my makeup was ruined.

I looked up at the sky wondering what went wrong in my life that lead me to here.

After a few minutes, I looked down, ashamed of myself.

It began raining and I sighed.

Just my luck.

I looked up once more, and Tyler's voice came into mind.

No one looks up anymore
Because you might get a raindrop in your eye
And heaven forbid they see you cry.

I thought of Josh. What was he doing right now? Probably making out with Debby still.

I sneezed, and realized I could get sick out here. I called Jenna and asked her to pick me up and drop me off at home, I was too tired to go back to Brendon's house and get my car.

As soon as I stepped into the car and Jenna saw my face, a worried expression took over.

"What happened?" She asked.

I said nothing, hoping she would understand.

"Josh." She whispered, suddenly enraged.

I remembered me and Josh's earlier conversation at the park. His hair. A peaceful mess. The color?

Ex-girl.
