*josh's pov*

I woke up surrounded in white. I suddenly jerked my head up.

The person sitting on the other side of the room noticed. "Josh you're awake!" Tyler said before releasing a stream of tears.

"Wh-what happened?" I asked before regretting the question.

Tyler rubbed his neck and gestured to the room we were in.

A hospital.

I suddenly noticed the IVs in my arm and the gown I was wearing.

"You and Tori got into a crash, but it wasn't her fault. It was the other driver, he was drunk." He said before taking a deep breath. "They found you with a piece of glass in your neck and passed out. You we're unconscious for two days."

"Wai- where Tori?" I said, fully alert.

"Josh, calm down please." He said tugging at his yellow hoodie.

"But, where is she?" I said panicking. "If anything happened to her, I will murder the hell out of the driver." I muttered.

The machine next to me began beeping, signaling a rise in heart rate. Tyler widened his eyes and begged for me to calm down.

One nurse immediately came in and rushed Tyler out, saying something about him having to be kicked out if he sneaks into the room again.

"Nurse..." I read her tag. "Nurse Lynn, what happened to my girlfriend Tori? She was the driver of our car." I said looking around for any answers.

"The crash was very critical, especially for the driver. The air bag didn't activate and she hit her neck on the steering wheel, while breaking her left arm. She's in critical health." The nurse explained. (I go to a medical school but idk this that well, don't blame me I'm only 13)

I took a deep breath. "Can I go see her?" I said, not wanting to cause any trouble.

"Sir, only family at this time." She said while holding out her arms cautiously.

"Then I am family! Now let me go see my wife!" I yelled, the words escaping faster then I could think.

That word sounded nice on my tongue.

"Sir, you should've just mentioned that you were married earlier, I'm so sorry." She said before walking to get a wheelchair.

"And Lynn?" I asked before she left.

She turned around.

"Will Tori be ok?"

"To be honest, I don't know."
