It was the night of the concert and I was pumped and so excited. I put on my black tee and some gray converses and applied some eyeliner. Simple but cute.

******

My phone started buzzing as I parked in the arena.
The screen read "tyjø bean" and I picked up.

"Hey ty!"

"Hey Tori! Are you here yet?"

"Yea, just need to find a way to get past the guards."

"Well that guest pass I gave you should help"

"Not when I've been stared down by two of the three guards"

"It's ok I'll come out and find you and bring you in"

"Thanks Tyler. I'm gonna wait beside the gate"

"Ok see you!"

I hung up and looked around. I could see fans lining up for a show by their favorite band. They call themselves the clique. To be honest, I didn't process that I've already heard this bands second album until halfway through the car ride. I had no clue Tyler was in Twenty One Pilots. At least I won't be awkwardly standing there not knowing the songs. I began humming Ruby until a fan came over. "Hey do you sing?" She asked. She looked about thirteen and she was holding a ukulele. "Yea I guess" I told her. "Great!" She pulled my arm and asked if I knew Ruby. "Yea that's my favorite song off the album!" She began strumming the beginning of it on her ukulele and motioned for me to start singing. I saw out of the corner of my eye that someone began filming. I honestly didn't mind because I was in a good mood.

I began to sing and the crowd got hyped.

Ruby I hope I see you
I've waited all this week
For you to walk my way
Your soul will capture me
Your momma painted your room
A shade of pink she said
But with your great arrival
That shade has turned to red

Ruby, take my hand
Please lead me to the promised land
Tell me where am I from?
Your eyes say "Shada de da dum"
Ruby your royalty
In your homeland they all call you queen
Tell me where are you from?
Your eyes say "Shada de da dum"

You're an angel fallen down
Won't you tell us of the clouds
You have fallen from the sky
How high? How high? How high?

You're an angel fallen down
Won't you tell us of the clouds
You have fallen from the sky
How high? How high? How high?

You're true and pure
You hold the cure
We're all diseased
You hold the key

You're an angel fallen down
Won't you tell us of the clouds
You have fallen from the sky
How high? How high? How high?

Tell our dad I'm sorry
Tell our dad I'm sorry
Tell our dad I'm sorry
Tell our dad I'm sorry
Tell our dad I'm sorry
Tell our dad I'm sorry
Tell our dad I'm sorry

At this point everyone was singing with me and a few other ukulele players began playing too. Everyone screamed with me "YOU'RE AN ANGEL" and we finished off the song strong. I heard everyone clap and congratulate me. I felt a hand on my back and I turned around to see Josh. I smiled wondering if he heard me. I heard the crowd go crazy as soon as he appeared. He waved and hurried us to the back.

"We were looking everywhere for you and then I saw a huge crowd of people and saw you singing in the center."

I blushed. "You really do have an amazing voice"

Before I had the chance to ask him what he was doing here and how he knew I was gonna be there I heard a familiar voice.

"Tori! Josh! C'mon the show is beginning." I looked at Tyler and Josh confused on how they knew each other.

Tyler must've got the look because he looked at me and said "If you didn't already know, this is Joshua William Dun and he is my band mate and my best friend"

I stood there shocked as none of them has told me. Especially Tyler. He knew I liked him so- wait. TYLER KNOWS I LIKE JOSH. CRAP. A hundred different questions ran through my head. Did Tyler tell Josh? Does Josh think I'm weird? Is Tyler going to tell Josh? Does Josh not care?

I had no time to mentally ask myself more questions because I was pushed backstage where I could see Tyler and Josh in ski masks sit behind there instruments. I tuned out Tyler making a small speech while I was listening to myself think.

"This one is called Ruby."
