Anaya's P.O.V

My eyes open and squint at the light coming from the window. I check the time and it's three in the afternoon. I want to go back to sleep but mum will probably rip my head off.

I drag myself out of my comfy bed and into my suite. I take a quick shower and wrap my towel around my body. I just pull out some new nighties because I don't have the strength to do anything today so I'll just stay in my nighties.

"Anaya?" I hear my mum ask as she walks into my room.
"Oh you're awake" she says surprised
I nod my head and she sits down on my bed.
"Are you okay?" She asks concerned
"Yeah I'm fine" I lie
"It's okay if you miss the boys" she tells me
"I do miss them but I'm fine" I tell her and she nods her head
"Do you want breakfast?" She asks
"Can you make me pancakes?" I ask
"Be down in ten minutes" she tells me before walking out

I dry my hair and then straighten it before pinning my fringe to the side. I decide to go for no make up and I put my glasses on. I slip into my slippers and grab my phone.

As I walk downstairs I see all my brothers sat down in the front room watching T.V

"Haven't you made them yet?" I ask my mum
"I waited till you came down because I knew you'd take half an hour" she smiles before getting up and going into the kitchen
I sit down next to Hannan and he looks down at me
I give him a small smile and he puts his arm around me. We sit like that watching T.V in silence before my mum calls me into the kitchen.

She hands me my plate of two pancakes. I drizzle my Nutella on them and some crushed nuts. I make myself some hot chocolate and then sit at the table.

My phone starts buzzing and its Harris. He wants to face time.

I sort my hair out and answer his call. As soon as his face shows up my heart jumps. But he doesn't look so good, health wise.
"Jungy? What happened to you?" I ask
"Nothing I'm fine" he shrugs
"Have you slept at all?" I ask and he shakes his head
"Promise me you'll sleep today" I say and he promises me
"How you doing?" He asks
"Honestly, I feel like shit" I tell him truthfully

"Why?" He asks
"I don't know why but maybe it's cos I've got school tomorrow" I say
"When do your exams start?" He asks
"Next week" I say, "you're so lucky you're already making a living at the age of 15"
"It's not always as good as it looks" he says
"Well at least you didn't have to sit your GCSE's" I pout
"I did, I just sat them earlier" he says

"What you eating?" He asks
"Don't get jealous but I'm eating pancakes with Nutella and crushed nuts and malteasers hot chocolate" I say and he licks his lips
"I want some" he pouts
"Go buy some" I say hugging my mug
He laughs,
"I miss you already, you know how to cheer me up anytime"

I look down sadly
"Same here, I'm missing you loads"
"Don't worry I'll make sure we see each other soon" he promises and I smile

"I promise anytime you call me it don't matter where I am I'll always be there" he sings and I smile at him
"I love your voice" I tell him and he blushes
"Awww you're blushing" I squeal
"I'm not" he protests looking down
"Lying is haram JJ" I say and he smiles

"Minnie are you in your nighties?" He asks and I laugh
"Yeah, is there anything wrong with that?" I ask
"When did you wake up?" He asks
"An hour ago" I say casually
"That's at two though" he says
"Yeah so? I came home late okay" I defend myself

He looks at his watch and sighs. Oh he has to go.
"Minnie I'm so sorry but I have to go" he says sadly
"It's fine" I say
"Tomorrow definitely, we'll face time everyday" he promises and I smile

I end the call and put my phone down. My mum walks in through the door and she's smiling. Okay weird.

She hands me a bag. I reach into it and pull out an iPhone box.
"Oh my god is it the seven?" I ask excitedly
My mum nods smiling and I jump at her and hug her

"Go set it up" she laughs

I look at the time and it's already half seven. Was I on face time for four hours? Damn. I didn't even realise

I snapchat my new phone and then transfer all my stuff on to it. Before I know it I've dozed off

I walk through the school doors and sigh. I wish Harris came to this school.
I see my group of friends and walk over to them

"BOO!" I scream and they all shout
They turn around and jump on me all at once
"Bitch we missed you" Ayesha said
"I swear Bradford is so boring without you" Rukayah cried
"We went mental without you" Alina screamed

"I missed you guys so freaking much!" I shouted and we hugged again
"You bitch!" I hear Halima say from behind me
"I was wondering when she was gonna show up" I say and we all laugh
"Hey girl I missed you" I say as she gets closer and pull her in for a hug

"Ahem no" she scoffs
"What?" I ask confused
"If I knew you were this much of a slag I would never have become your friend" she spits
"Wha-" she cuts me off
"bye" she says walking off in a mood

I look at my mates and they all have the same look of confusion on their faces

What just happened? Did I just lose one of my best friends?
