Okay so idk why but this chapter just kinda disappeared so I had to rewrite it - forgive me if its shit🙏🏽

Anaya's P.O.V

"He doesn't love me" I say after a while

He can't love me. This was simply a friendly gesture and nothing more.

"Honey? Why else would he do all this for you?" Ayesha asks
"Geez thanks" I say sarcastically
"No she means that people go to these lengths for people they love" Halima explains and the cogs in my brain move around, trying to find and alternate explanation as to why Harris would do this for me

"Anaya this is the only explanation" Alina says as if she read my thoughts

Maybe he does love me

"But the question is..." Rukayah begins
"Do I love him?" I finish off and they nod their heads
"Well do you?" Halima asks and I shrug
"I don't know" I reply feeling a little lost

We speak for a little while until Fayzaan comes into the room and tells me he wants to take me shopping.

"Bye girls" I smile
"Bye, and think about it" Ayesha says and they all wave

I get into a pair of blue skinny jeans and a white tshirt with a pineapple on the corner. I leave my makeup natural and wrap a black hijab around my head. I slip on my vans and a random jacket. I grab my phone and walk out the door with my brothers, hoping to forget about what just happened

Harris's P.O.V

I walk into Adam's house and plop onto the sofa next to him
"Yo what's wrong?" Naz asks and I shuffle around
Do I want them to know?
"Don't even think about not telling us, we don't keep secrets" Adam says

"It's fucking embarrassing I don't wanna talk about it" I say, behaving like a five year old
"Don't even think about going anywhere, tell us" slim demands

I sigh in defeat. This is bullshit.

"So you know when you saw Anaya's story and thought we had sex?" I began and I'm already cringing. This is so awkward

They all nod they head so I carry on telling the story

"Well we didn't and when we woke up I started tickling her and we got a little close and..." I trail off cause this is way too awkward

"And?" Naz asks and I shake my head
"I can't say it" I say getting off the sofa and throwing myself onto the floor
"Tell us what happened, it can't be as bad as the time you puked on one of your fans when you were at them funfairs" Naz laughs and I roll my eyes

"Fuck off" I reply to him and he chuckles until Adam kicks him and he shuts up
"Fine I'll tell you" I sigh, "I got a boner" I mutter and they look at each other in confusion

"You what?" Slim asks
"I got a boner" I reply and turn beetroot red
Naz bursts out laughing and slim and Adam try to hold in their laughs

"It's fine, laugh it out" I say waving my hands in front of their faces, feeling defeated
How will I sort this out and make it less awkward between us?
I'm pretty sure she saw and felt my boner because it was pretty hard to miss

"Bro listen, it happened and you can't change it so just do something to make her forget about it" Adam explains
"Something like what?" I ask
"Take her out somewhere" Slim suggests
"Watch a film again" Naz laughs and I grab my shoe and flog it at him
"Stop!" Adam says holding my hand before I can throw my other one at him

"Naz be serious" Slim says and he nods his head as he stifles a laugh
"Ring her now and tell her you want to take her on a date tomorrow" Adam explains and I nod my head
"But what if she says no?" I ask
"She won't, trust me she likes you too much" Slim says and a grin spreads onto my face and I blush

"Awww you're so cute" Naz gushes, punching my cheek and I push his hand away
"Fine I'll ring her" I say and get up and go into the hallway
I ring her and wait for her to pick up

Anaya's P.O.V

I answer the call even though I don't want to. I mean, I had time to think about what happened and it's awkward now

"Hi" I answer
"Hey erm about before..." he starts and I sigh
"Jungy it's fine honestly" I tell him but I'm still a bit awkward about it
"Really?" He asks
"Yeah, really" I reply
"Okay well I was thinking maybe I could take you out tomorrow?" He asks slowly
"Uhhh yeah, where?" I ask
"It's a surprise" he says and I laugh
"Okay well I'll see you tomorrow" I say and he chuckles
"Bye" he says and hangs up

Or at least I thing he does
"Hello?" I ask but he can't hear me but I can hear him shuffling
"Hey so you asked her out?" I hear Adam's voice
"Yeah we're going out tomorrow" Harris replies
"No offence bro but why are you doing all this?" Naz asks and I feel as if Harris hesitates

Why is he hesitating
He's doing this because we're friends, obviously
Right?

"I don't know, I think my feelings are getting stronger" Harris replies and my heart stops
