Anaya's P.O.V

Did my crush, who I've been crushing on for two years, just ask me out?

Okay I'm legit fucked. I'm not gonna say no cos I like him too. But if I say yeah it's only fair if I tell him an essay too, right?

I guess I should just tell the truth.
"Ali, this is probably gonna sound so fucked up and you're gonna be shocked and all that shit but I have to tell you. Since the end of year 9 I've actually liked you but I didn't wanna tell you because I didn't know you liked me. Now that you've told me, I guess it's only fair that I tell you the truth too. So yeah I'll go out with you" I say blushing
"Shit really" he asks happily and I nod
He grabs me and pulls me into a hug and I hug him back.

The bell rings so we pull away,
"Shall I walk you out of school?" He asks and I nod my head and we start walking.
I can't believe this is actually happening. I mean, he likes me and I like him, and we're going out now.

I switch my phone on and go on snapchat. I take a picture of mine and Ali's hand and put the date on it and then the love heart emoji. Cute as fuck.

Then my phone starts ringing so I check who it is and it's Sulaiman.

"Yeah?" I ask as I answer it
"Where are you I'm outside" he says
"I'm just walking out now I'll be there in like a minute" I say and he says ok before ending the call

"Babe, I'll see you tomorrow okay?" He says and I nod my head blushing before he walks into his sister's car and I go into my brother's car.

"Hey" I say as I sit in the front seat.
"Hey, why were you walking with Ali?" He asks

"Oh er, I'll tell you when we get home" I say and he nods his head but gives me a confused look

Once we get home I get run up to my room and look for more comfier clothes. I hate my uniform so much it makes me feel so uncomfortable.

After looking around I decide on blue jeans, and white t-shirt. I wrap a khaki coloured hijab on my head and then my superstars. I grab my lightweight parka jacket and my phone and walk downstairs. I love it after school cos I don't have to re do my makeup.

I walked into the kitchen and looked in the fridge. There was nothing to eat. Literally.

"Mum where's all the food?" I shout
"It finished and I need to send your brothers to go get some things" she says walking into the kitchen
"Ooh I'll go" I say quickly
We walk into the living room and see all my brothers watching T.V
"Oi we have to go shopping" I say and they all look at me
"Why? Can't we last one more day?" Uzair says
"No beta all of you get up come on!" My mum says and they groan and get up

Mum gives Sulaiman some money and we all go sit in the car.
We drive to the nearest supermarket and get all the standard stuff we need.

"Oi I need to stock up on my Netflix snacks" I say dragging them towards the snack aisles
"How do you eat like a pig and gain no weight?" Hannan asks and my brothers laugh
"I don't know it's a gift I guess" I say shrugging and they snort
"Okay a gift?" Uzair says laughing
"Shut up" I say and go back to picking my snacks out

I get some crisps, chocolate, sweets, drink, cake, nachos, jalepenos, cheese, more cake and more crisps.
"Yo are you done now?" Sulaiman asks
"One more thing" I say walking towards the biscuits
I put in cookies and Oreos and sigh
"Done" I say and they all breathe a sigh of relief
"You use so much money" Fayzaan points out and I smile at him

Once we had paid we ended up going to McDonalds and getting fillet-o-fish meals. I'm not saying it's my fault we got them but it's my fault. I ain't sorry though

We're driving home and Sulaiman calls me out of nowhere.
"Yeah what?" I ask
"You never told me why you were walking with Ali" he says

Shit
I thought he forgot about that.

How many of you would actually tell your older brothers you've got a boyfriend? None right?
"Oh er it was nothing" I say
"I don't think it was nothing, you were blushing" he says
"Can't I just blush?" I ask
"No not when you're with your crush so tell us" Hannan says
"You don't have to know everything about me now drive quicker I have exams starting tomorrow" I say changing the subject

"They're not even important exams" Uzair says
"They're my GCSE's you dumb ass" I say laughing
"Just tell us and I'll drive faster" Sulaiman says
"I'm not stupid I don't fall for that bullshit" I say
"You are so just tell us" Hannan says laughing

I punch his arm and he laughs even more
"Is that all you got?" He asks
"Yeah that's all I got" I say sadly
"For fucks sake Anaya tell us why you were with him" Fayzaan says getting annoyed
"Why're you so pissed off I don't get it. You're all butting into my private business and I don't do that to you" I say

"We're just being good, overprotective brothers" Fayzaan shrugs
"Fine! You wanna know?" I say

I can't keep it a secret anymore. I actually thought it'd be a secret for a few weeks at least.

"Ali pulled me out of last lesson cos he needed to speak to me, he congratulated me on winning the competition and then he gave me a present. He started telling me he's liked me since ages and he asked me out and I said yeah" I explain

"YOU WHAT?!" They all scream at once
