Anaya's P.O.V

"Oh my God" I whisper to myself
I get up and sit next to him and give him a hug

"It's okay, cry as much as you need" I say rubbing his back
He buries his head into my chest and cries. I feel so bad for him and all this time he hasn't told me. Ever since I was small, his dad would take care of me and he was so nice to me. I haven't seen him in a long time and you could say I miss him.

Ali pulls away and wipes his tear stained cheeks with the back of his hand.
"I-I have to go" he stutters

I nod my head and he gets up and leaves.
I sit there for a few minutes and think about what Ali just told me. I'm still shocked and God knows what he's feeling.

I throw my rubbish in the bin and walk back towards my house.
I get home and I realise everyone's out. I get the keys out of my pocket and unlock the door. Just as I'm about to sit down my phone rings

"What?" I ask a bit rudely when I answer it
"That's nice" Harris laughs
"Oh shit it's you, I never checked the caller I.D." I say and he chuckles

"Anyways I was wondering if we could hang out today" he asks
"Oh wait! you have to come with me to the hospital today" I tell him
"Why?" He asks
"I need a placement there while I'm at college" I explain, "come over now"

I hang up and the door knocks a minute later.
I get everything that I need and walk out

"Miniiieeeee" he cheers
"Ew don't" I say in a disgusted face
"Whaaaaaat?" He smirks
"Speaking that way, it's fucking annoying" I say
"Ooookkaaaayyy" he laughs
I roll my eyes and we reach the hospital after fifteen minutes.

"Hi I'm here to apply for work experience" I tell the receptionist
"That's fine, just take a seat and someone will see you shortly" she smiles and I nod my head and thank her

We both take a seat in the waiting area. As soon as I sit down and cute little girl walks towards me

"Hiya" she smiles
"Hello! What's your name?" I smile
"Sumaya" she grins
"Well Sumaya, I'm Anaya" I say smiling, "How old are you?"

"Two" she says and holds up four fingers
She is literally the most cutest girl ever.
Harris chuckles and puts two fingers down. She looks at her fingers in confusion for a few seconds and then bursts out laughing.

Harris chuckles along with her cute but maniac laugh. She waves bye to us and runs away.
"You're good with kids you know" Harris comments
"She was cute though" I reason
"Not as cute as you though" I hear him mumble

"Hmmm?" I ask
"Nothing" he says quickly
A nurse walks towards us and smiles.
"Are you Anaya Hussain?" She asks and I nod, "follow me"

I get up and Harris wishes me luck before I walk away from him.

I hope this goes well because I really need this.

Harris's P.O.V

I watch her as she walks away. I swear there's something on her mind. Probably a few things actually.
I want to do something for her. Something nice.

I get my phone out and text Adam to meet me later. I have an idea.

Anaya's P.O.V

"So, how soon can you start?" She asks
"Well I've just finished high school and I have a month or so of holidays, so I can start straight away but when I start going to college I'll have to work less" I tell her and she nods her head

"So, what department are you hoping to work in?" She asks
"Well I'm studying psychology and health and social care, so I was thinking, maybe taking care of the patients. Making them feel welcome, you know?" I explain and she nods

"You clearly care about others so I'm gonna give to you and this is a big step you know? Working in a big city hospital. It'll be hard" she explains and I nod my head

"Thank you so much" I say smiling
"Well we'll see you next Monday" she says and we both get up.

I thank her once more and walk out the door. Harris sees me and gets up.

"How'd it go?"
"I start on Monday" I tell him smiling
"That's great!" He says

My phone starts ringing and it's mum.
I pick it up and say hello.
"Where are you?" She asks
"I'm at hospital" I tell her
"Oh my God! Why what happened?! Wait there I'm coming" she days quickly and I hear keys jingling

"Mum calm down I came to apply for work experience" I tell her calmly
"Oh! You scared me! Don't ever do that again!" She scolds and I laugh

"Okay okay sorry"
"Come home quickly I need you help" she says and hangs up

Okay?
"I have to get home quickly" I tell Harris and he nods
"That's fine, I need to meet up with Adam anyway" he says and I nod

He walks me to my door, says goodbye and disappears.

Harris P.O.V

"Why did you need me?" Adam asks
"I have an idea but I need your help" I explain
"Idea for what though?" He asks
"It's a surprise for Anaya" I say
"You just said that like it's not big deal" Adam says
"It isn't a big deal though" I say confused

"It is! You're doing so much for her already" Naz shouts
"Whoa where did you come from!?" I shout as slim pops up too.
"You like her don't you?" Slim asks

Do I? I mean I know I like her but I'm just thinking.

Maybe I love her...
