I've been more smiley than ever lately, and it's very obvious. I'm not sure what Jacob and I are, but after our date, I can guarantee we won't be "just friends" for long. He doesn't seem like the relationship type, but he is so sweet. We talk on the phone most nights, until I fall asleep or he has to go. At school, Natalie notices how happy I appear to be.

"What's up with you lately?" Natalie questions, looking me up and down. "You've been so happy, not that anything is wrong with it. Ooh, is it a guy? Who is he? Is he hot?"

I consider lying to her. I consider telling her I'm going to see my dad soon, or I'm going on vacation, but there's no use in it.

"Jacob?" I hesitate, not wanting to look at her. She nearly chokes on air and looks at me.

"What?"

"We're not dating or anything, we just..." I'm not sure what we are. We aren't at the friends-with-benefits stage because I haven't kissed him since our date and that's simply all we do; kiss. But friends don't go on dates, not like the one we had. "We're in limbo."

"Well," she starts, "You definitely threw me for a loop there." I bite the inside of my cheek, baring myself for her rejection. "Aria, I don't know, he's pretty dangerous. I know you may not think so, but he's done a lot you don't know about."

"Like what?" I ask, letting my curiosity get the best of me. She gives me an uncertain look, biting her lip. "I don't think he's as bad as everyone thinks he is." I add, rolling my eyes. She sighs and presses her lips together.

"Well does he make you happy?" I smile, thinking about the day he kissed me. The way his lips felt on mine and the way his hands touched me. I think about how he made me laugh when we were at the restaurant, and how he took me to the ocean front afterwards. I nod and tell her yes. "Then that's all that matters." She notes, with a genuine smile on her face.

Jacob

I take my keys out of the ignition and stare straight ahead, thinking. I exit the car and walk around the corner to the big, worn-out, grey house at the end of the street. I knock three times before a man opens the door. He stares down at me with a mean glare before pulling me inside. I follow behind two other men until I'm in the same dim, familiar room.

"Jakey, boy. Long time no see." Donny grins, looking up from his stack of money. I hate that nickname. I hate him. "You been hidin' out on me?"

"No, I've been a little busy." I mumble, keeping my eyes low.

"Oh yeah, with that girlfriend of yours right?" I snap my head up as I realize he's talking about Aria.

"I thought you stopped following me, Don." I sternly put, trying not to let my anger get the best of me.

"Oh, don't worry about what I do. I just wanted to make sure you're not selling secrets, that's all." I glare up at him, biting my tongue to stop me from getting in trouble. "Don't worry, Jake, we won't touch a hair on her pretty little head."

I roll my eyes and look at the two men standing behind him. "So you need me to do a delivery or not?"

Donny smirks before standing up. He walks over to the corner and grabs a backpack. He throws it at me and says, "I want it all gone by tonight, you hear me? You get 40% and don't fuck up the math or I'll have your head, kid." I raise my eyebrow and sling the backpack over my shoulder before walking out.

Aria

I wanna see you.

The text pops up on my phone and I see Jacob's emojis glued to my screen. I smile and text him back.

Come see me.

Twenty minutes later, there's a familiar tapping on my window. I smile and open it, looking up at him.

"Well hello, Diaz."

"Winter," his deep voice greets, calmly. He climbs in and shuts the window behind him. I crawl onto bed and look up at him. He looks sadder than usual and I don't know why. He leans against my tv stand and folds his arms across his chest.

"It's late, I thought you'd be busy by now." I state, playing with my bed sheets. He smiles and looks around my room.

"You tryin' to kick me out? Cause I can happily leave now-"

"No," I giggle, cutting him off and reaching up to grab his arm and stop him. He looks down at my hands, and then back at me. He scans my face before stopping on my lips. I try to swallow the knot in my throat, but there's no use of doing that. He turns to me and licks his lips.

Suddenly, I remember what Natalie said earlier. I pull my hand away and sit back down on the edge of my bed.

"So, how come you don't come to school all the time?" I ask, trying to change the subject and more importantly, forget about the rumors involving Jacob.

He walks towards me and leans down, placing his hands on both sides of my thighs. "I get .. busy." He bites his lip, sending chills throughout my body. Even if I tried, I couldn't keep my composure in front of him. It's too difficult.

He leans in slowly, taking advantage of every second before his lips brush against mine. I feel his breath hit the entrance of my mouth as he cockily smiles down at me. Without hesitation, I press my lips against his and kiss him hard. He slows down, taking my face in his hands, kissing me softly and pulling away, then repeating.

As if it was scripted, I crawl back onto bed as his body follows mine until he's on top of me. Our heads move in sync while his hand puts both of my hands above my head. He cups his hand around the back of my neck while making a trail of kisses to my collarbone. He sucks my neck lightly, letting his tongue glaze across my skin. I bite my lip to keep from moaning as his hand travels down to my breast and cups it. He pulls his hand away, looking down at me for permission.

"It's okay." I put his hand back and run my fingers through his hair. He breathes heavily, doubtfully resisting me. "It's okay." I repeat to reassure him.

He dives down and kisses me, this time harder. He pushes himself between my legs, letting his hips drop on mine. His hand squeezes my chest hard before traveling down to my stomach. He fiddles with the end of my shirt before sliding under it. His hands are cold and firm against my skin. He runs his hands up the inside of my shirt, returning to my boob. His hand seems much larger now that it sits on my chest.

He goes to my neck once more, and I let my eyes droop as he licks, sucks, kisses, and repeats. I bite my lip and moan quietly, taking fistfuls of hair into my small hands. He grinds slowly against me, sucking harder and harder. I feel a tingling feeling in my stomach and I can't control my moans as they gradually get louder and louder.

He comes back up to my lips and mumbles, "Shh." He smirks and lets his hands go down to the brim of my sweatpants. He hooks his finger to the top and tugs at it slightly. He slips his hand over the outside of my underwear and uses his middle finger to rub me. I bite my lip as my mind starts to race. The room is getting humid and the clothes I'm in begin to weigh down like a car on my body. I feel sweat begin to collect on my forehead and my breathing starts to spiral. What's happening to me? He isn't even inside of me, but I'm still going crazy.

I pull at his shirt, wanting it off. I want everything off. He moans on my lips and pins my hands down, rubbing me harder. I toss my head back as he goes faster and faster. An unfamiliar feeling builds in my chest and stomach and my breaths become indifferent. I feel myself letting go and I don't want him to stop.

"Look at me," he grunts against my lips. I look up at him and moan, gripping my bed sheets hard. I finally give in as my body erupts into what seems like a million little pieces. He doesn't stop rubbing me until my moans die down and I'm completely done. I grab his hand and hold it as I catch my breath. He smiles and pecks my lips softly.

"How was that?" He whispers.

"It was .. a pleasure." I smile slyly, letting my eyes droop lower and lower. I hear him smile and he takes his thumb and rubs my cheek.

"Pleasure." He repeats.
