Much to Hoseok's annoyance the news of their little game had already spread around the school, making it the highlight of the day.
He had wanted to talk to Hyungwon for the rest of the afternoon but the younger didn't share any classes with him.
As soon as he found Hyungwon walking through the hallway, he ran up to him making him jump.
"Hoseok-hyung", he took a deep breath, trying to calm his heart, "I thought you were someone else."
Hoseok frowned at that, grabbing his elbow and directing him to an empty classroom.
The door fell in his lock with a loud noise.
They stood together for a few seconds before surprisingly Hyungwon opened his mouth to speak first.
"I'm sorry, it's my fault that they bother you", he whispered quietly, his eyes on the floor.
Hoseok chuckled with a low voice, making Hyungwon look at him surprised.
"They have always bothered me when I still used to go to this school in the past", he explained with a smile, "I should be sorry that they searched a new victim after I left and that happened to be you."
"Please don't play against them."
Hyungwon surprised Hoseok yet again by grabbing the older's hand in his.
Hoseok had always found it amusing how big Hyungwon's hands were compared to his own. They fit together easily.
"Nothing's gonna happen", Hoseok smiled again, his eyes still on their locked hands.
"Promise me that you won't get hurt", Hyungwon asked and his voice sounded shaken.
"I promise. Let's go and kick some ass", just as Hoseok wanted to open the door again, Hyungwon stopped him by tugging at their still linked hands.
"Hoseok", the taller breathed and before Hoseok knew what was happening he felt the youngers lips on his cheek.
It stunned him and before Hoseok could react Hyungwon took a step back, blushing deeply.
"Now we can go", he stuttered and managed to get out of the door first, leaving a flustered Hoseok behind.

Hoseok tried to block all thoughts of Hyungwon out of his head.
He stood beside the basketball field, worried about all the people who had crowded around it.
His friends stood beside him but one hadn't arrived yet and that was Kihyun.
"We're screwed without him", Hoseok mumbled worried and shared a look with Hyunwoo.
"He'll come. Give him a few more minutes", Hyunwoo smiled calmly, nodding in the direction of Jaebum and his group, who were approaching them now.
"I'm glad you came", Jackson yelled when they were still a few meters away, getting everyone to stop their conversations to listen to the encounter in front of them.
"Hyungwonie, nice to see you too", Jinyoung said with a smile on his lips.
Hoseok took a step towards him with a glare which only made Jinyoung grin even more.
"Who's going to play for you?", Jaebum asked, his eyes silently searching for the one who was still missing.
"Kihyun, Hyunwoo and I", Hoseok smiled trying not to show his worry.
"Seems like Kihyun isn't here tho", Jackson butted in with a smug grin.
Jaebum ignored him.
"You'll be up against me, Mark and Jackson", he continued and Hoseok made a sigh of relief in his mind. Mark wasn't as bad as Jinyoung or Yugyeom.
"Are you ready?"
Hoseok took a hurried glance over the people around them in search for Kihyun but still couldn't find him.
He bit his lip, exchanging a look with Hyunwoo again.
Hyungwon, Minhyuk and the others had gone to sit at the bleachers, worrying just as much.
Hoseok just wanted to announce how they needed to change members, when a small frame appeared beside him.
"Are we ready? The question is whether you are ready", Kihyun said with a smile on his face.
Hoseok felt relief washing over him.
Now they had a chance.
"I'm going to kill you after this and I don't care how many bruises you'll already have", Kihyun whispered as they made their way onto the field.
Hoseok took a last look at Hyungwon before taking his position.
Everything's going to be fine. We played three against three countless of times before.
As his eyes met Jaebum's gaze, he suddenly wasn't so sure anymore.
