Yoongi was enjoying a nice, relatively person free Thursday, and he had mostly gotten over his cold. Sneezes and coughs were still happening, but Yoongi didn't feel like death anymore. Still mentally drained as well, but nothing he can't handle. Yes, he was enjoying the day very much, until he got a call.

The caller was Kim Taehyung, Yoongi's only cousin. Taehyung stated that he was visiting and wanted to see his 'favorite cousin' Friday morning. Yoongi didn't want to argue so he told him to meet him at the Starbucks at 8:00.

Yoongi was not prepared for Friday morning.

See, Yoongi had temporarily forgotten that Taehyung was going to be there, so when he saw Taehyung standing in line, Yoongi contemplated going home. However, the need for caffeine was stronger.

Yoongi watched Taehyung find a small table from the line, staring at him with the most unamused look he could muster. Taehyung seemed to be completely oblivious of Yoongi's presence until he sat down next to him without a word.

Taehyung practically lit up when he saw Yoongi. He tackle hugged him while saying loudly, "Yoongi! I missed you!"

Yoongi ignored the fact he was being hugged. "Hey, Taehyung. You, too, I guess." Yoongi mentally rolled his eyes at his cousin who kept on smothering him in love.

"Aww, Yoongi, you've barely changed. How's your attempt at getting into BigHit going?"

Yoongi was also not prepared for that question. Yoongi had planned on sending BigHit Entertainment a few of his songs so he could actually get paid for composing and writing, but Yoongi wanted his songs to be perfect. "It's, uh, going pretty slowly. I've got a few songs finished, but I want to send in five or so, just so they have a good selection. I have until the end of the year to get them in and it's only April... also I've been refusing Namjoon's help so it's slowed me down quite a lot."

"So basically it's gotten nowhere." Taehyung summarized.

Yoongi sighed. "Yeah..."

"Wait, is your mom still paying your rent?"

Yoongi nodded. His mom was kind enough to pay his rent for a couple years until he got a job that he liked. This was his last year with his mom's grace, so he was really hoping to get hired by BigHit sometime soon.

"And I'm still funding your daily Starbucks trips, I see..." Taehyung pursed his lips, not too pleased all the money he's given to Yoongi has gone to coffee, but it's better that other things, like drugs. (Yoongi wonders why his incredibly rich cousin won't give him money for more important things, but he'll take what he can get.)

The two chatted on about various topics for a few minutes until Hoseok came and stood in front of their table. He had to come at the moment Taehyung was hugging Yoongi and, of course, giving him a 'cousinly kiss on the cheek' for extra love.

Yoongi hated everything.

Yoongi looked at Hoseok with a pleading look as Tae kept on rambling on about various things, not even caring about his previous actions. Hoseok silently pulled up a chair and sat down, watching the two with an unreadable expression.

There was a moment of tension as Tae noticed Hobi sit down and the two said together after a moment of eye contact, "Are you his boyfriend?"

Both of them looked surprised. Taehyung beat Hoseok on questioning Yoongi. "You never told me you had a boyfriend!"

Hoseok quickly asked his own question. "Yoongi, who's he?"

The two kept on asking questions over each other, and Yoongi finally said, "Shut up. Both of you. I'll answer your questions if you both just keep quiet." Since Yoongi was still partially sick, he did not want a headache. And irritation was a daily occurrence for him so he really didn't want to attempt to kill one of his friends just because they were being loud. "And don't assume I'm gay, kids." That shut the two up very quickly. (Even though Yoongi is incredibly gay, he doesn't want to deal with that at the moment.)

He addressed Taehyung first. "Taetae, this is Hoseok. He is not my boyfriend. We just come during the same time during the mornings." Yoongi then leaned in and whispered very quietly to Tae, "And don't ask him any questions. I'm pretty sure he's a trust fund kid, so I wouldn't want to get on his bad side."

Tae just smiled and nodded.

Yoongi looked at Hoseok and took a moment to respond. "Hobi, this is Taehyung. He's my cousin. He is not my boyfriend. I forgot he was coming and didn't tell you. Also, question, how are you not sick?"

Hoseok took a moment to take in this new information before answering. "Right. Uhm. I wash my hands."

"Oh." Right. Washing hands. That thing people do, or should do, on a daily basis.

"Yeah... anyway, nice to meet you Taehyung." Hoseok put on a very clearly forced smile and held out his hand.

Tae either didn't notice or didn't care and smiled brightly as he shook his hand. "Nice to meet you too, Hoseok!"

Yoongi buried his face in his hands. "Tae, volume."

"Sorry..."

Yoongi rolled his eyes and just sipped his coffee as he watched the building tension between the other two at the table. Come to think of it, Tae and Hobi had a lot of similarities, and it confused Yoongi as to why there was so much obvious tension between them. Shaking his head, he forgot about it and wondered if he could take a nap... he really needed one to catch up on all his lost sleep.

There was silence between the three of them for several minutes. Yoongi decided to break it. "Hey guys, can you cut it out? This... this thing going on between you isn't good for my health."

The two stared at him like he was crazy. (It wasn't too much of a stretch.) Hoseok looked plain offended while Tae just seemed confused and unaware of their tense stare off.

"What thing?" Tae had to ask.

Yoongi sighed. "You and Hobi. The stare off. The tension. Are you fighting for alpha male or something? If you are, don't do it in front me unless it directly involves me, please."

Taehyung just let it a small 'oh.' Does that mean it did involve him? Yoongi really didn't want to know.

Hoseok then got up and started to leave. He, however, turned around and said to Yoongi before leaving, "I'm going to call you later, alright?"

Yoongi shrugged. "Alright."

Hoseok then actually left after that, leaving Yoongi and Taehyung alone.

All Tae had to say on the matter was quite simple. "Yeah, he's definitely a trust fund kid."

Yoongi nodded in agreement.

A/N:
