Hoseok was absolutely elated when he found Starbucks was open again. He waited a whole weekend for whatever new installments they had added. Suffice to say, Hoseok wasn't disappointed.
When he walked in, he instantly spotted a new, kinda small area that included two comfy green chairs, one comfy black couch, a coffee table in the middle, and one small, flat screen TV mounted on the wall.
Hoseok impatiently ordered his coffee, and when he finally got his coffee, he bee-lined it over to the new area. He inspected the chairs, which were in fact quite comfy, despite the ugly green color they had.
Next was the couch. He was about to test it out when he spotted Yoongi. He seemed to be asleep, as his head was tilted back and his eyes were closed. Hoseok set his coffee down on the coffee table, next to Yoongi's, and contemplated his situation.
He could sit next to him, he could sit on one of the chairs, he could find a table, or he could leave. He purses his lips as he thought about this until suddenly Sooyoung was next to him, poking his shoulder.
"Uhm. Hi, Sooyoung. What's up?"
"Nothing much. But I suggest just sitting next to him. Maybe move his head so his neck won't hurt when he wakes up." Sooyoung had an awfully familiar look on her face, but Hoseok ignored it and took up Sooyoung's suggestion.
"Alright. I'll try that. By the way, I really like the area, but how come it's so empty? There's no one here."
"Oh, it's because Starbucks opened up like two hours ago since it closed, so not many people know about it yet. Enjoy it while it lasts, Hoseok." Sooyoung gestured toward the couch before walking back to the counter.
Hoseok shook his head and finally decided to sit down. He chose the left corner, as he could use the armrest, and it was next to Yoongi. Win-win situation. (nct lets gooo)
The moment he sat down, however, there was a sudden weight on his right. He glanced over only to find that Yoongi had drifted over and was now leaning on him, shifting a bit as if trying to get comfortable.
Hoseok didn't know what to do. It was clear Yoongi was still mostly asleep, and he didn't want to wake him up, so he just sat there, staring longingly at his coffee cup that was just out of reach.
Not even a minute later, Yoongi was grabbing Hoseok's arm like it was a lifeline, while shoving his face into Hoseok's shoulder as he shifted his body to his liking, which was basically curling up into a ball on the couch.
Hoseok could feel his heart just hammering away for no reason at all. Hoseok really wasn't expecting to be Yoongi's teddy bear today, but it seemed to be the case.
Hoseok held his head up with his hand, trying to just think. What was even going on? Was this just some sort of weirdly realistic dream or weirdly dreamlike real life? He couldn't really tell. Hoseok sighed and closed his eyes, trying to clear his jumbled thoughts.
Soon enough, his hand started to slip a few times so he decided to lay it on the closest thing to him. Hoseok didn't seem register that he laid his head on Yoongi's. Apparently, he was just tired enough to doze off this morning.
Tired enough to fall asleep with Yoongi clinging to him like a small child and tired enough to be laying his head on said Yoongi.
Some time passed, which neither knew how much. They were just sleeping in a mostly empty Starbucks, on a couch, in public, like a couple some may be lead to believe.
However, that time was interrupted by Hoseok's phone ringing loudly. It woke up Hoseok up, and he quickly grabbed it out of his pocket and answered it when he noticed it was Jimin's ID.
"'Sup, Chim?" Hoseok sighed. He was still groggy from his nap, and he hadn't quite registered what was going on in the world around him.
'Uh, class starts in like five minutes and you're not here. Are you okay?'
It took Hoseok a moment. He blinked his eyes open rapidly a few times, actually awake now. He found Yoongi still sleeping next to him, or rather, on him, and he found that his class was indeed going to start in five minutes. "Shit... uhm, okay. You and Minhyuk are going to have to take over for me until I get there. I'm in a..." Hoseok glanced down at Yoongi and sighed. "I'm in a sticky situation right now. You know the song and the choreo to it since I played last time, yeah?"
'Of course.'
"Great. I'm assuming Minhyuk knows it too since that kid picks up stuff like crazy, but I'll need you to run through it with everyone."
'Are you sure? I don't know if I can do this...'
"Jimin, it's fine. Here, why don't you play the song and ask everyone to try and remember anything from last time just to see where everyone is at. Report that to me when I get there. If I'm not there by the time you're done, then start helping out the kids and all that."
'Alright. I'll tell Minhyuk that. I hope you're okay, you sound stressed.'
Hoseok smiled a little. "I'm fine. Do your best, Jiminie. I'll be there as soon as possible."
'Okay, Hoseok. Bye!'
"Bye." Hoseok ended the call, sighing. He put down his phone and glanced at Yoongi, who slept through the entire thing.
Hoseok decided to wait a little bit longer. He just stared Yoongi, noticing every little thing.
He didn't look all that grumpy when he slept, Hoseok thought with a smile.
That smile faded as he realized he really needed to get going. So, he quickly and quietly slipped out of the loose grip on his arm as he set Yoongi's head back.
Hoseok let out the breath he didn't knew he was holding as he successfully escaped the couch. He grabbed his coffee and exited Starbucks without a word.
You could say he showed up late with Starbucks in hand.
