Yoongi was happier with himself today since he actually got productive work done. However, the moment he woke up he knew that today was not going to hold anything new for him. Yoongi had that feeling of dread and stress building up right as he got out of bed. He glanced at the time.
7:30. He tried to remember what time he went to bed. Oh right, 3:47. Earlier than usual and therefore a little more sleep. That at least put Yoongi in a good enough mood to go get his coffee. He then realized it's Saturday and usually doesn't get coffee, but he wanted his coffee too much.
When Yoongi arrived at Starbucks, he instantly regretting ever coming that morning. He had spotted Jungkook and Jin as soon as he got in line and Yoongi knew for a fact they both knew about Hoseok and came here for the sole purpose of talking to him about Hoseok. Why else would those two be at Starbucks at 7:50 in the morning?
As soon as he ordered his drink he saw Sooyoung grinning at him evilly and then he knew that Sooyoung had been in on the plan of 'talking about Hoseok' which wasn't very surprising to Yoongi, but annoying nonetheless.
Yoongi knew he had no choice but to sit with Jungkook and Jin at their conveniently taken four person table.
Jungkook was the first to talk about Yoongi's nemesis. "So, Yoongi, how's your dates with Hoseok been?"
Yoongi glared at the younger, not pleased. "First off, they're not dates. Secondly, terrible." He furiously sipped at his Americano while still glaring at them.
"Riiiiight," Jungkook smirked, "So then why do you always sit with him? It seems like you are attracted to him, like a moth to a light."
"Are you seriously comparing me to a moth? I get comparing Hoseok to a light, he's so bright it hurts, but I am not a moth."
Jungkook raised a brow as Yoongi kept on talking.
"And I sit with him so I can thank him for paying for my drink. I'm not a savage, Kook."
Jungkook and Jin exchanged glances. This time, Jin spoke up. "So you're admitting to Hoseok being a light. A very bright light." Jin couldn't help but laugh at Yoongi.
Yoongi honestly didn't realize he said that, and his ears dusted red, "W-what? No. I mean, yeah, but, no. He's an annoyingly bright light? I mean, have you seen his smile? I've practically gone blind from him."
Jungkook clapped a few times, "I knew it. You like him."
Yoongi glared murderously at Jungkook. "I hope you realize you're dying tonight, right?" Yoongi felt his face becoming more and more hot just thinking about what Jungkook just said. "Why would I like him. He's annoying and stuck up."
Jin responded first, putting a hand on Jungkook's shoulder. "Hey, no murdering my boyfriend without me. And we haven't even planned it out yet."
Jungkook looked offended. "Hold on, you're not even letting me in on my own murder? I'm hurt. I've gotta go out with a bang so I have to plan it myself."
Jin nodded, "Fine, we'll let you plan it out, too, but we're getting off track. Hoseok, right? Yoongi, Hoseok is probably only acting stuck up to you because you don't know him that well. I've known him for years and trust me, it's just an act.
Ooh, I know, why don't you bring Holly next time? You can get his daily walk in, and get him the, uhm, watchamacallit..."
Jungkook sighed and said, "Puppacino."
Jin snapped his fingers, "Right! Yeah! That! So get him the Puppacino and then Hoseok will probably not be stuck up anymore."
Yoongi narrowed his eyes. He's got to admit, seeing a not-stuck-up side of Hoseok would be interesting... "I'll think about it. Holly's been super restless lately too, maybe a morning walk would help."
Jungkook rolled his eyes and Yoongi's pretty sure he muttered something about 'excuses excuses'.
The three talked for a while more, mostly about the latest memes and such, until the couple had to go meet up with someone else. What they had planned for them Yoongi could only hope it wasn't a prank for that poor person who had to deal with them next.
Sighing, Yoongi got up and and quickly left to go back home. He had a few hours until he had to take Holly out on his walk and that meant he was going to try and fish up something to eat from his lacking fridge.
Walking home, Yoongi was practically being blinded by the sun as it rose higher and Yoongi was definitely reminded of Hoseok.
And that stupid smile of his.
Sadly, that for some reason just stressed Yoongi out more than he liked. He decided to blame all of his stress on Hoseok. It pleased Yoongi.
