It's J-Annoyance

when you have that one song on repeat forever

Hoseok didn't know why the music he had gotten from Yoongi was so good. He had gotten some samples from some, but after listening to some of them in full, he was absolutely blown away.

But now, he wanted more. Except, Yoongi didn't mention who it was that made the songs, and he really wanted to find more.

So he asked Yoongi, obviously.

"Hey, Yoongi? Who made the songs you gave me? I mean, they're from the same person, right? 'Cause they're all really really good and I wanna find some more." Hoseok smiled expectantly at Yoongi.

Yoongi, meanwhile, looked like he was having a slight mental breakdown. "Uhm. Well, I forgot who, uh, who made them since I found them on the internet a long time ago and... and yeah." There was an awkward laugh stuck in there. "Sorry."

Hoseok squinted at Yoongi a for a second before sighing and letting it go. "Alright, but do you have more, though?"

Yoongi blinked a few times. "I mean... yeah. I do. Some are..." Yoongi trailed off before starting back up on a completely different topic. "What ones did you like the best? I could try and give you some ones like those."

Hoseok blanked for a moment. His brain was still trying to process Yoongi deciding to forget what he was going to say. Eventually, it all caught up. "Wait, songs I liked the best? You can't ask me a question like that, Yoongi! I liked all of them! They were all just so good and it would take me the rest of my life to just find my favorite. I'll take any more songs that you have for me."

Yoongi blinked owlishly at Hobi. "Oh. Uhm, okay. I do have some more... but, uh..." Yoongi let out a breathy laugh and had a small smile on his face, which confused the hell of out Hobi. Was Yoongi just happy about something or embarrassed? "It might take a bit to get you another, like, batch of songs, I guess." Yoongi scratched the back of his head as he finished.

Hobi, however, totally forgot about why he was questioning Yoongi's... well, everything. "Oh, don't worry about that, Yoongi! All these songs are so good so they'll keep me entertained for a long, long time. Take your time if you need to!" Hobi smiled reassuringly before sipping on his coffee.

It fell into a (mostly) comfortable silence after that. Hoseok was watching the news on the tv, which mostly told of the weather. Scattered storms popping up the next day, nothing to worry. Yoongi, however, was staring intently as his coffee cup after the weather segment changed, for some reason Hoseok did not know. With Hoseok being himself, he had to ask.

"Yoongi?"

Yoongi snapped his head up to look at Hobi. "Hm?" He looked a little surprised, scared even.

Hoseok laughed at that (it was just so cute!). "I was just wondering... are you nervous for anything?"

Yoongi glanced at the TV, then to Hobi, to his cup, outside, then back at Hobi. "No," Yoongi said quelietly, almost like a whisper, like it could be snagged by the wind and you would never even hear it.

Hoseok wasn't expecting such a small sounding response, really. Yoongi was fine a while ago, maybe a little self-conscious, but Yoongi is like that sometimes. Hoseok hasn't really 'seen' the super-quiet-and-closed-off-because-I'm-probably-scared-of-something Yoongi for a long time, probably even a month.

"Oh, are you sure?" Hoseok echoed the tone of voice back, making himself speak a little softer than he normally would.

Yoongi furrowed his brow and glanced out the window away. "Not really..." Yoongi didn't look back to Hoseok this time and just stared out the window.

"Wow, uh, okay. Wanna talk about it?"

Yoongi's eyes darted to Hoseok for a second before going back to the window. "Can't."

Well, that wasn't cryptic at all. "Oh, okay. Well, I can always listen if you want to." Hoseok smiled for a moment before taking a look at the time. "Shoot, I have to go. Sorry, Yoongi!" Hoseok said as he got up. "I hope whatever you're nervous about isn't something too bad! I know it won't be that big of a problem for you," Hobi laughed. "Anyway, bye!" Hoseok waved goodbye to Yoongi.

Yoongi waved back slowly before finishing up his coffee. That was the last Hoseok saw before he was walking down the road to the studio.

When Hoseok arrived at the studio, it was a pretty normal day. Except, he was really happy about what he's doing for their next little training period. Ever since Hoseok listened to the songs Yoongi had given him, he was already starting to create choreography for some, and he was going to use those songs in his classes.

After he introduced the song he was going to start them off with, most of the students really, really liked it and asked where he found it. Hoseok had to (unfortunately) explain to them he got it from a friend, who didn't remember who made the song. Hoseok was pretty sure someone had asked, "You have friends?"

He ignored it. (Ah, teenagers.)

After his last class, Jimin had come up to him. "Hey, Hoseok. I was wondering... uhm...
would you really want me to apply for a job here?" Jimin looked genuinely worried about that, which kind of amused Hoseok.

"Of course, Jimin! Why would I lie to you about that? You'd be such a great instructor here, I know it. Besides, I know a lot of students here, especially the younger ones, look up to you. And, I can get pretty boring after a while, so having you here would spice it up a bit more!"

Jimin tilted his head. "Really? I never thought of that... You're the best, Hoseok! I'll get on with that, then. Thanks a lot!" Jimin smiled and took his leave.

That left Hoseok alone to ponder everything about life (because that's always a good idea). Except his mind kept on coming back to Yoongi of all places. As he eventually left for home, he now started to wonder why in the world Yoongi was suddenly so closed off. It's not like he's seen it before, because he has, it's because... well, isn't it because he doesn't like it when that happens? It makes him so worried about Yoongi.

And, last time Yoongi was like that, the only explanation was something about rain and-- oh. Now he gets it. God, how could Hoseok be so stupid? The weather had said something about rain, and after that, Yoongi was practically gone, at least emotionally.

Why does Yoongi have to be so mysterious?
