when your friend starts shipping you with the enemy

Yoongi suddenly realized that he had no idea why he let Sooyoung have his number. After a horrible day of Hoseok and Min Holly barking at literally nothing, he's more annoyed than never.

When Sooyoung got her break only ten minutes after getting his coffee, she decided it's the perfect time to tease him about Hosoek. Why? Yoongi will never know. Maybe it's a girl thing.

At first Yoongi responded with snarky responses before he outright ignored her when she said he's blushing.

Yoongi didn't realize he was blushing until now and is currently planning out a special someone's murder. Maybe two. Yoongi glared at her half way across the building, and Sooyoung just smiled. She's getting to him and Yoongi knows that. So what does he do?

Ignore her and her texts.

Always ignore your problems until they get too big to handle, right?

Yoongi finished his coffee pretty quickly and leaves the store while quietly flipping Sooyoung off. She saw it, of course, and laughed. She loved annoying him.

Yoongi did not appreciate her efforts. Normally, when they text, it's just stupid memes or drama going on in Sooyoung's oh so interesting life. But when Sooyoung doesn't do what she normally does? That meant she had a plan.

Yoongi would say he's not scared of that plan. But he was, because it's Sooyoung. You never know what that girl with spider legs was going to do next. And Yoongi thought her next plan was to get him and Hosoek to hook up.

She knows he's into guys, it's not that much of a secret to some, but the last time she hooked him up with someone, it did not go well. And Yoongi, whether he likes it or not, appreciated any sort of positive friendships, even if that just included free coffee from Hoseok.

And that's why Yoongi went straight back home to see if his dog was going to cause more problems.

Min Holly was just protective, y'know? He does what he wants whenever he wants and Yoongi put up with it. Yoongi thought if he can put up with his dog, he can maybe put up with running into Hoseok every other morning. And only every other morning. He can only have so many annoying friends (which basically include all of them. Except Namjoon when he's not breaking everything, and instead helping him with his music).

Ah yes, his friends. No more than ten, he could say.

His friends he's learned to tolerate include Sooyoung, Seokjin, Jungkook, Namjoon and Taehyung. How he still managed to be friends with any of them baffled him, but he'll take it.

By the time he got home Yoongi was ready to siphon every ounce of inspiration he had into lyrics.

So far, it's not going too well.

'Holly, my Holly,
Why must you howl
Every night
Every morning
Every waking
And unwaking
Minute?'

This was probably the worst he's ever done. A child could write better lyrics then that. This catastrophe signaled the end of Yoongi's attempt to do something productive in the morning and then turned to his phone.

Twenty unread messages.

Yoongi groans and checks to see who texted him.
Sooyoung... reasonable. She finally gave up on annoying him and just sent him some memes.
Jungkook... talking about 'who the hell is Hoseok and why is Sooyoung wanting you two to be together?'
Seokjin... just checking to see if he ate breakfast (which he did) and... that he knew Hoseok.

Of course Jin knew Hoseok. Who didn't Jin know? However, Jin only mentioned that Hoseok is a very nice guy, even if he got super energetic sometimes.

Energetic, Yoongi can see. Nice guy? He's still convinced Hoseok just wants to show off how much money he has from trust funds.

Tomorrow was going to suck.
