Chapter three

"Here, sip some water!" I passed her a plastic cup that the first aider gave us.
"Thank you so much guys!" Anna called after the guards as they started to disperse.
Suddenly there was a buzz in the air. A Black MPV pulled up into the corridor.
"No! No Way!!" My mouth fell open. The security went into Auto-Pilot and the guard nearest us shifted uneasy, and stepped closer in case we legged it.
"Anna!" I said eyes glued to the car still.
"Mel! " She replied as stunned as me.
"CLEAR!" I heard over the earpiece of the guard by us.

The door of the car slid open, Howie hopped out, followed by Mark and Jason.
"Oh My Fucking God, Jason!" Shouted Anna. Gary climbed out last.
My mouth fell open! Never in my life did I actually believe I would ever get this close to the boys.

"Ay Oop! What we got here then?" Said Jason jogging over to us.
"Oh My God Mel! He's coming over!" Anna's face was a picture .... And...... Breeeeatheeee!
The guard explained to Jase what happened at the barrier and he looked genuinely concerned for Anna.
"Oh My Lord, are you ok?!" He asked placing a hand on Anna's shoulder.
"Y.....y......yeah." Anna's voice was a tad shaky.
"You sure?!" Jason smiled and rubbed her shoulder.
Mark bounded up behind Jase. "What's Occuring?!" He said and jumped up on the back of his shoulders.
"This is....ummmmm Sorry I don't even know your name? Jason giggled.
"She's Anna Sterling" I said "I'm Mel Evans, we're here for the gig."
[ Durrrrr.....think he knows that Mel you idiot]
"Cool" Mark ruffled Jase's hair then ran back to the others who were still milling around the car.
"Guys!!!" Mark shouts whilst running back. "We have signings!!!" He giggles
They all walk back towards us where we were sat propped on a table.
"Guys! This is Anna and Mel " they each came forward and gave us a hug.
As Gary came close I could smell his aftershave. [ WOW!]
"I blurted out ...."Oh My God!!!", he just smiled his smile.

Now MY knees felt weak! Gary Barlow was inches from my face!
"Where do I sign?!" He said
"Ummmmm....." I hadn't planned on this happening.
"Here" ...Anna said handing me the tickets for the gig and a pen from her bag.
Gaz handed the tickets along the line of boys for them to sign.
"Course now we've scrawled over these, you won't be able to get through the gate."
Me and Anna exchanged looks.
"But don't panic, we have some platinum seats left that we reserve for our friends and family." Gaz explained. Our panicked faces changed back to shock.
Gaz handed me back the tickets, that had been passed back down the line and Our hands touched, a wave of fire rippled through me, starting in my toes all the up to my cheeks.
Gary must have noticed this too, as his face started to redden too, looking me straight in the eyes.
Mark chatted to the security man and told him we were to be shown to 'The Bar Box'.
"Have fun!" "See ya!" Mark and Howie said as they turned to return to their show preparations. Jase had been in deep conversation with Anna, I'd have to ask her about that later when I'd returned to earth!"
"I'll see you later then babe!" Jason said as he took Anna's hand to pull her into a hug. Then he kissed her hand.. What a gent!!
He skipped off and smacked Marks ass as Anna studied her ticket I had handed back to her without taking my eyes off of Gary.
"Gaz!! The boys shouted out to him .... He remained motionless as our eyes were still locked.
"GAZ!!!" They repeated ... Jerking him out of his trance. "Sound check!!!!" Mark hollered.
Gary finally broke eye contact, turned to walk away, then looked back in my direction, then his eyes fell to the floor, was Mr Barlow feeling bashful ??
"I ......errrr.....best go" he apologised "the boys...."
"Sure.... No worries I understand" my face was burning now. "Thanks for the Autograph" I added.
He turned back again, walking backwards "pleasure" he said with a smile, a wink and a point of his finger.
