Chapter thirty eight

"Pooorrrrrrrrrr!!" Gary screwed up his nose "somebody smells!!!" Belle had a beaming smile and had her fingers in Gary's mouth as he cradled her in his arms.
He too was a complete natural.
"Well don't look at me!!!" I laughed.
"Nor me!!!" Agreed Anna.
"Nice!!!! There's love for ya!!!" Gary Joked. "Come on Smelly!!!!!" He grabbed the change bag and retreated upstairs to change Belles nappy.
Becca came charging back through with squeals of delight and Uncle Jay hot on her heels.
As he caught her he lifted her up and tucked her under his arm, just like a rugby ball. "Let's go find some food!!" He said with a wink at Anna, and they were off.
Mark and Howard came back to the lounge, Mark had Tilly in his arms and Howie had Belle, who definitely smelt sweeter now.
Are Sam and Vicki awake yet?? I asked standing to clear the cups out of Belles way.
"Yeah! She's gone over to her mums today...but said thanks for letting her stay..... Didn't she Princess!??" Mark cooed at Tilly in a silly voice.
"Yeah....Vic's gone too but sent her thanks also." Agreed Howie "that just leaves us to entertain these Princesses....doesn't it??!!"

[DAMN ALL THESE BOYS ARE SUCH NATURALS!!]

"Right!!..." said Mark. "Who's up for a game of Twister?"
The girls screamed like mad and ran away to the games/TV room. ( so many rooms!!)

"WOW!!" Both Anna and I said in tandem. "They are all so fatherly!" I said open mouthed.
"My womb is throbbing!!!" Laughed Anna "and Beccas a spit of Gaz huh?!"
"Isn't she just!!" I agreed "right I'm off to wash up ...unless you want another?" I pointed at her empty mug she was cradling.
"Err..yeah ..think I will I'm parched...must be all that alcohol last night!!!" She laughed.
Jason had made pancakes for Becca, which she was chomping away on at the breakfast bar.
"Something smells good in ere!" I said as we entered the kitchen.
"My favourite!!" Exclaimed Becca " and uncle Jay makes then better than Daddy!!" She grinned, making us all giggle.
"What was that about me?????" Gary said as he joined us.
"Ohh...ummm...Nothing!" I winked at Becca, and she smiled back.
"Who wants tea?? I'm making a pot!" Said Gaz making himself useful.
"Please?" "Yes please?!" Said Anna and Jason.
"I'll go find out from the others!" Jason said and wandered off.
Becca was quite happily eating away.
Anna's phone rang, and she excused herself, which left me, Gaz and Becca.
"What's your name again?" Asked Becca with a mouthful of pancake.
Gary disappeared out the kitchen

[CHEERS GAZ !!!]

"Errr...I'm Mel.." I smiled
"I'm Bex!" She smiled back. "I'm 7 now!!" She licked her fingers
"Thank you for coming to visit us today?!" I said politely.
"That's ok!" She said "Daddy has presents for us!" She beamed
"Yes...I think Father Christmas did leave something under our tree!" I gave an excited look.
Tilly came running back in ... "Bex......Bex.....Daddy has presents from Santa for us!!" Her eyes were wide and excited.
"Please can I leave the table Mel?" Becca had such good manners.
"Yes ... Of course you can! Go see what Santa left for you?" I laughed
She jumped down and ran off with Tilly, nearly knocking Anna over in the process as she returned to the kitchen.
"Jay said MARKY = yes and HOWIE = no thank you." She confirmed the tea order.
The excited hubbub from the lounge made me feel all warm inside, no...I didn't want to be their mum...I just wanted to watch them enjoy their time with their Daddy, and watch Gary enjoy his babies.
I poured the Tea and Anna helped me carry them to the lounge where we all reformed to watch the children open their gifts, watching Gary and the Boys make special memories for Gary's 3 beautiful girls.

The girls loved their gifts and played with them until their bedtimes Becca and Tilly had their own rooms and Belle stayed in with us.
I made up a travel cot that Gary had brought with us when we moved in that had stored in his storage facility.
Tilly played up a bit at bedtime, but Uncle Mark stayed with her till she was asleep, even Marky fell asleep on the bed beside her which we got a great picture of!!
Belle went to bed asleep, as she fell asleep in Gary's arms. Gary plugged in the Baby monitor and came downstairs smiling.
"Gary they are a credit to you!!" I grinned.

We didn't sleep particularly well that night, Belle woke a few times fractious, but Gary was out and comforting her straight away.
When I eventually woke Gary wasn't in the bed next to me and Belle wasn't in her cot. I stretched...yawned and glanced at the clock.

[GEESUSS ITS 11:15!!]

I grabbed my dressing gown and after visiting the bathroom I trudged down the stairs yawning again.
"Hello sleepy head?!" Anna said in the kitchen
"Wow...I must have zonked!" I yawned again.
"Coffee???" Anna poured a cup and pushed over the milk jug.
"Where's Gary? I rubbed my eyes as I poured the milk.
"Him and the boys have gone out to the park" she laughed "thought I'd leave them to it."
"You sleep ok?!" I asked her sipping my first cup of the day.

"Well yeah...eventually!!" She blushed.
"Oh god Anna!! It's too early for those details!!!" I grabbed a biscuit from the tin.
"It's a lifestyle I never thought I would see myself in...but honestly Babes you should try it!!" She was glowing inside and out.
"I don't think my pain threshold would take it!!" I laughed.
"Who says you will be the one feeling pain?!" She said with a cheeky grin.
"OH MY GOD!" I nearly choked on my biscuit.
"Well we kinda........." I trailed off.
"What?" Anna's eyes lit up.
"Ah it wasn't anything like you...umm......you know!?" Now I blushed.
"I just ordered him around a bit..and didn't allow him to speak ..while I ...errr...had some fun!" I reached for another biscuit, not wanting eye contact with Anna.
"AND??" She sounded excited "did you both enjoy it?"
"Well...errrr...yeah sure I spose" I shrugged my shoulders
"Well that's a start!" She winked.
"Ok!" I laughed "we'll get some practice in.! On that note I'm gonna pop for shower!"
"Ok! Babes...I have to pop home today, so may not be here when you come down." Anna said.
"Cool!, thanks for coming, it was brilliant spending time with you all, helping us settle in." I rubbed her shoulder and left a kiss on the top of her head.
Welcome....and yes that 'chat' we all had the other night was cracking never laughed so much in my life.

I checked my phone and I had 2 messages.
One from Gary saying he was out with the Girls and would drop them home afterwards. And he loved me very much.
The second was from Mum...wishing me a Happy Christmas and hoped the house was ok?
