Chapter four

"Here you go ladies" the steward pointed to the seats, "your seats are numbers 7+8, the bar and snack bar are open and should you need the ladies during the event, there is one just inside on the right."
We thanked him and exchanged glances [ money? ]
"Oh, and don't worry, it's all paid for by the bands management." With that he turned and left.
"Am I fucking dreaming Mel???" Anna pinched herself.
"I don't think so, unless I am dreaming too?" With that she pinched my arm.
"Ow!" I flinched "Fuck me Anna! We are in the royal fucking box!!"
We both held our breath and screamed aloud.
"Let's get a drink then?! It's free!!" Anna was already halfway to the bar!
"Wait for me!!!!" I called after her.
We ordered our drinks and with armfuls of snacks we returned to our seats. It was then it hit us.
"Mel! Look at the size of this place?! Well worth the £60 ticket price huh? Which reminds me... You still owe me?!!" She teased.

Just then some music started to play.
"Fuck! We get a preview too!!" Anna added.
We stuffed our face with nuts and popcorn and started jigging to the music, suddenly a few familiar voices appeared all around the stadium.
1.........2.......1....2,2,2 boomed Marks voice making us jump. One by One the boys appeared doing their vocal warm ups and telling a few rude jokes.
Gary covered his eyes from the glare of the lights and looked up at the box where we sat "Sounding good up there are we ladies?"
We cheered and clapped. We were a fair way away from the stage, but I could feel Gaz's eyes on me again.

"Hey!" nudged Anna, "is it me?? Or is Gaz staring at you?"
"Shudddup An!! Like he would???!!" We laughed together.

The gates must have opened, cos ppl started milling in the 'royal box' and girls started to race to the stage standing area to get a great view, just like a 50% sale at Harrods!
As the minutes ticked by, the stadium filled up.
"Shit! Now I need a pee!" I laughed "Will you be ok?"
"I'll save your seat Mel" Anna giggled "now hurry up!"
It was bliss ...... No queue outside the door and they even had posh Loo roll.

On my way back to my seat I stop by the bar to get some more drinks.
An official came up behind me making me jump.
"Miss Evans?"
"Errrr....y.....yeah!?" I replied wondering how he knew my name.
"Mr Barlow asked me to give you this." He held out an envelope with my name smartly written on the front.
"Oh.....uhhhhh.....thanks!" I stammered. I looked down at the envelope, gripping it in my teeth and grabbed our drinks.

"There you are, thought you'd got stuck?! She grabbed her drink to free up my hand.
"What's that?" She added looking at the envelope in my mouth.
"Errrr.....a guy just gave it to me in the bar, he said it was from Gaz!!
"Well what you waiting for?? Open it!!" We already had an autograph, what else was there?
With shaky hands and fumbling fingers I ripped open the paper.

"Is that??.....is that?!!" She looked up at me.

"AFTER SHOW PARTY PASSES!! We chanted together.
